the old car served us well, I think for Mr El it's more we have had to borrow a car several times now when ours was broken down and he doesnt want to keep having to do that, he also thinks we would only get 500 or so for our car and that it could last a few more years yet...Karmacat said:Is Mr El very fond of the old car, El, or does he find it useful in some other way? I'm really not surprised looking at cars was stressful, I find it stressful even thinking about it! I'm so glad you had such a lovely time with Skinty though

I know beanie I am not doing it willingly believe me, and yes I need to make sure I am not doing too much, but we have had to re adjust our budget by quite a bit so I need to boost our income in one way or other.beanielou said:Do you really need to have to start doing more overtime?

New car sounds lovely but boo to overtime. I've been doing it for a month now and majorly CBA. It's funny, when I earned minimum wage I thought nothing of overtime as a) no responsibilities yet b) skint c) just what you do. Now I have a "real"/salaried job, it's just a hassle2
