I did the same there as I do other places - admiring scenery, walking, chatting to people, looking at cultural spots (churches, local museums, neolithic spots, ancient wells etc).2023: the year I get to buy a car2

That's the kinda holiday I enjoy KC hopefully one day I will get there3

Last night shift and what a night shift it's been, it's been some week tbh, nothing much has happened, paid the gas and electricity, I'm sticking with £250 a month and will see what happens tomorrow.
Was hoping to go away this weekend but the forecast isnt good so may need to cancel.
Nothing else to note really4 -
have decided to cancel my gym membership, I'm working three weeks out of 4 on nights the other week 4 long days so I wont get any use out of it, I also didn't have a great experience at it before as well.
£20 a month saved, the plan was to go up to Ardtoe and kayak over to one of the beaches over the weekend but the weather isnt to be so good for kayaking so we will leave it3 -
Kayaking sounds like it would have been fun - but not in bad weather. Gym decision seems sensible - just redirect the £ to your adventure bucket.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Today was the long awaited day for sunflowers ... We expected fields of sunflowers ,, we got two strips of sunflowers, but it was still fun, always is when I meet up with @skint_spice ... Mr El came with us and took the role of master gardener very seriously
We then nipped over to visit with the lovely @beanielou, it's been too long since we had a catch up, Mr El and beanie get on well, when I told him we were gonna meet up with beanie he was trying to figure out if he could make tablet in time.
Back down the road to put my sunflowers in a vase ... only to discover I dont have any 🤣🤣🤣🤣5 -
