Aye you know me ... im the quiet one out of us two 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Finally got a day off on Friday, met up with a friend I hadnt seen for ... well atleast 6 months, we were meant to go for a wee 13km stroll to help me build up for WhW next year... 25km later ... it was great though, if she had said El wanna go for a 25k walk I wouldve said no chance I'm not up to it, she said El 13 k I said aye nae bother... then we started, and got lost a few times as neither of us had done the walk before, turned out it was 13miles rather than km ... not my friends fault it does say 13km in the book, but it wasnt, the other 1. whatever miles was due to being lost, but it was all fun.

Today I met up with another friend along with Mr El and her daughter we did Dumyat and then went for a swim in loch lubnaig, my friend is trying to get used to hills and she loves swimming ( just like a certain skinty) the wind up at Dumyat was the worst I've ever had on a hill and I really struggled, really struggled. my breathing was terrible, I had to stop many more times than normal and at one point had to stop as my heart rate was too high due to trying to pump the blood round.

Anyway another good day, so all practice for WHW. A wee bit of adventure money spent ( but not much) and I have sunflowers to look forward to in just iver a weeks time.

Hope all is good with u

it's a braw wee loch, I've kayaked it a few times, swam ... well dipped it a few times ... we dont really swim. today it was braw as usual :)

    but it isnt my fave

Loch Eck for a dip takes some beating ... I think @skint_spice would agree ... it's just heaven in a loch ( without the fishing lines obviously)

and for kayaking ye just cannae beat Loch Ard ... although I'm.sure skinty will say but not for paddle boarding ... goodness knows how she managed that, I couldnt .... too hard ... she is a very healthy fit person though, but im sure even she would say that's just a tad crazy

Today it's mainly housework day, I'm sitting here with the tv on innthe background just for noise, I think that's gonna have to stop soon, just wee simple things that I wont miss and dont need, i do prefer the radio tbh but the radio Mr El bought me years ago sadly stopped working so i think i need to invest in another one. Havnt ordered my curtains for the door yet, gonna get Mr El to check the sizes with me.

I'm nights again this week, nights take a lot out of me, so not worth the extra money they pay.

Think that's roughly it for today, when all payments are automated and your not scrambling about and trying to organise things or have any plans to change stuff about it feels like your just plodding along till pay day, that's how I feel just now, plodding till pay day.

    Hope everyone is good
Totally with you with the plodding!

Aye, theres worse things we can do, trying to stop myself from fostering with the finances, they dont need footered with they  need left alone to do their thing,

patience is a virtue ... one I need to develop.

I am thinking though that I need an adventure list for next year, I reckon its helped this year to focus our plans     what say you @skint_spice ? an adventure list ? might keep me from transferring money so I can make another 2p profit for a wee bit

Adventure list sounds great!  I was just catching up on Shetland the TV series, and couldn't resist having a closer look online at a map - wonderful stuff.
