Anyone else having to set up their online banking for 'the first time', every time you log in?0

Managed to set my account up today using code I got in the post. When I logged into my account, I found the £150 already in the account, which was a surprise. The complete date is still 5 days away.0

We can of course switch to 2 new sole accounts.
I'd reccomend you each open a sole account and grab the bonus that way. As above, joint accounts are only eligible for 1 payment, so you'd be missing out.0 -

But from the sounds of it Halifax have decided for whatever reason that they don't want to offer you any more accounts, which they are allowed to do if that's what they decide. If you're unable to switch into a sole account then I guess the joint switch is better than no switch. In that case you only need to switch in one account to get your incentive.0 -

I have used Halifax for years and never previously had this issue. Only occurred when I tried to open the Reward Account. On line chat immediately suggested trying another browser, so I suspect I was not the first with this issue.0 -

Otherwise we have Clarity credit cards, accounts for our grandchildren, and our home insurance through them.0 -
@jennifernil
Try to open an ordinary solo ac. If that succeeds, you can convert it to a Reward ac and then do the switch for the incentive.

People that have already switched into existing accounts, did you receive text updates?
When we did Lloyds the online form you completed gave you the option to request text updates, but with Halifax it made you log into online banking to complete the switch and didn't give an option.0 -
