My partner won't let us celebrate until we physically have the keys lol so a few more weeks and a structural survey to get through before we can celebrate properly 😑 I slept so well last night knowing one box was ticked off though x

I think it depends on what else your solicitor has to do but technically if everything is done and everyone in your chain (If you are in one) is ready it could be in as little as a week. I believe Kent need 5 working days to release the funds and there is a 7 day cooling off period but you can instruct the solicitors to complete prior to the cooling off period if you are happy to waive that

We held off on the structural survey until mortgage offer came through so we didn't spend £600 to loose it. So another 2 wks for that to come through and then fingers crossed we will hopefully be ready to agree a date 🤞 Not in a chain and property is empty so I'm really hoping by mid Sept we will know when we can complete (provided something really bad doesn't come out of the survey 😣 I think I've just triggered new anxiety lol) x
