I've been following this thread for a while (wasn't sure how to comment until today) so so happy for all of those that have had their mortgage offers through! Really great nees! Gives me hope, I am already with Kent but can't port my mortgage and I am applying with someone this time.
Our mortgage broker said they applied for our mortgage on the 1st Aug, but we had a hard search from them on the 25th July, so not sure if it's because they asked for extra documentation or something.

The valuation was done last Thursday, how long do you think until we hear something now if we go off the 1st Aug?

My property is new build and ready to move into. I've instructed solicitors 11th of July and they done nothing until I chased them 17th of August so I believe searches got to come back before I can complete. They reckon there was a legal problem with the property which I think it was the fact builders were still doing their work inside and they received draft contract 1week of August. 

Hi @Ah94 I received an offer 6 weeks and 2 days from full application. And 9 weeks from receiving AIP. Good luck!!

@Ah94 we've applied 27th July. Hard search 27th July. Asked for more documents 29th July. Valuation done 3rd August and my broker called them and KR said Valuation is done and they're happy. Now just waiting for the offer and they've advised we'll have an update by early next week.

We were meant to have an update today but nothing. Spoke to the broker and they’ve said they still haven’t assessed the additional documents. He’s going to call kent this afternoon and I’ve said if I haven’t heard from him I’ll call back around 4 pm. So fed up. This is now the 8th working day from sending extra documents. Next Monday marks week 8 from application,

I have noticed from this and the other bigger thread- their offers always come in the afternoon. Never in the morning so hopefully today!!!

I had a nightmare week starting with my car breaking down on motorway then yesterday I've picked up my car and on the way back got the offer too! 🎉 So happy

Application went in 11th od July.
1st of August they requested first (and last) lot of documents which was childcare
They signed it off on 9th of August and since then I've been waiting for valuation that was booked on 18th. Ive chased that yesterday morning and by 5pm I had an offer. That's all.

Thanks @Atena just worried now as the broker said the documents haven’t been assessed but surley if they’ve come back and asked for additional things twice they must’ve done some form of assessment ! Grrr.
