@festival_flow same. My broker did all the work and I'm just waiting. I was told by my MB that I'll have to wait 4-6 days for them to even look at my application
Click on that link and scroll all the way down to see initial underwriting times

@atenaHopefully we are at the initial underwriting stage as they have all documents and we passed the soft search and hard search with them they said yes our broker said? What’s your experience been so far? So stressful not knowing.

@festival_flow I've literally heard nothing. Last time I've heard from my broker was when she submitted the application. I will wait and chase an update on Monday.
I wouldn't worry with one default. You should be alright

Our application went in yesterday, broker said it’s taking 21 days for underwriter to look at currently. I have 2 defaults settled and over 3 years old and 3rd almost 3 years and settled.

Fingers crossed indeed! With a default that old can you not look at high street lenders?

Yes we tried 2 but they said no. We’re desperate for the house it’s our dream home. So happy to compromise on payments being a bit higher for first 2 years,

Our situation is the same, it’s exactly the house we have been after, with rates the way they are heading we won’t be far off high street rates soon anyway. Like you say if it secures the house then you can go elsewhere after the fix ends. I’ve set 6 weeks before we should get any form of answer from Kent… they are a busy lender so I hear
