So I’ve had an update.

I needed to prove my latest mortgage payment had been made and where the funds came from and they have reduced the maximum loan available by £5k. I’m thinking this is positive but still feel sick and feel even worse that it could be a further 8days. Broker is going to call the underwriter so fingers crossed.

This sounds good! Did you need the maximum loan value? Or was it less you were after. Surley u just need an updated mortgage statement ?

They wanted to see that I had made the payment and someone hadn’t made it on my behalf.

if we have to go with £5k less then it’s not the end of the world as it’s a remortgage rather than me buying a new property so we will just have to hold on some of the works, do the urgent ones and see where we are after that.

Thanks everyone, I feel a bit closer to the end but the thought of another 9 days is depressing

I’m on day 7 now of waiting to hear back from additional docs we had to submit/ I’m praying that will be it!

Morning all! We’re supposed to hear by tomorrow but I’m not keeping any thing crossed. Hope people hear stuff today!
