I expect Narcissistic Manager will shortly be dealing with a flurry of resignations, if not already in the thick of them @Fortune_Smiles?! Standing by for juicy updates love Humdinger xx4

I confess that I would not be very surprised is said manager did not have a series of yes men ready to go. Then when they are all on board they will wonder why business is stalling. Obviously nothing to do with them, it never is.

And relax 😊
Mr F is a happy man 🙂 He checked his email for Narcissistic Boss messages (there was one further frosty one) and saw two from others which were big future problem alerts... but not his problem now 😆 He says he feels really relaxed. And he's already had a conversation with a supplier who he knows is looking for trainers 🥳
We've had a volley of visitors today. A team from the power network came out this morning to cut some of our trees back and away from the power lines. Another guy came lunch time to attach a warning sign to the utility pole they're replacing (I'm not sure why 😆). Then a further team arrived to deliver some materials that are going to be needed when they replace the utility pole. The tree guys chipped all the clippings and left them for us so that Mr F could mulch our new hedgerows with them.
In between we managed to have a call with the last of Mr F's pension providers and are all set to transfer to drawdown once they get the paperwork out to us. We hadn't received the lump sum from the second of my pension providers so I did a search of my emails to see if I'd missed anything from them. I found something from a messaging centre I'd not heard of and dismissed as a scam but it turned out that it was genuine and was from the pension provider asking for more information. So I've organised that and it's ready to be posted.
Lunch was fish finger sandwiches with lettuce, cucumber and tartare sauce (I 💓 a fishfinger sandwich). Supper is currently in the oven - Teriyaki Salmon & Green Beans with a few broad beans thrown in for luck.
I've meal planned for the week but will probably leave the on-line grocery shop until tomorrow now as I want to have a long bath after supper. All this anticipation has been very tiring 😆
Happy Monday folks.

Well done to Mr F 🥳🥳🥳 Having walked away from my own narcissistic boss almost 4 years ago, that sense of relief and happiness once you make that decision is something I know very well. We also had a slew of visitors yesterday from the power network to cut down the trees etc near the power lines over the back of our house. Makes me wonder if they just go out and do all of it on the same day!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20176

Congratulations.
Good you found the missing email. I frequently dismiss things as scams and then find they're not. Rather it was that way around than the other though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
