    RCI 95day 5.6%
If you don't like the potential move to 5.30% check your opening date, there's 14 day cooling off...

I haven't received my 109 days notice yet. Wonder when it will arrive?
What makes you think they're going to send you a reduction ?

They seem to have reduced the rate for new applications and would be surprised if the new rate wasn't also applied to existing accounts at some point.

I've sent them a message asking for clarification of this.

    That's why I said 'potential'.
15 week (min) fixed at 5.6%... ? I may add more!

I expect to receive notice of the rate reducing in the next few weeks or months simply because it's a normally meh bank offering a very good rate and those things don't really go together.

Have other accounts - just made deposit from Tandum 5% easy access to Vanquis 90 day at 5.5%,,,,wondering if they will also drop their rate?
  • Can't see anything on this thread about Chorley BS - I recently opened the 200 day notice account (think it was at 5.65%) - it now seems to have disappeared - presumably NLA. But given the lack of mention on here - is there a "problem" with Chorley or is 200 day notice just too much (may as well get 6 month fixed rate)? Thanks

I had a look at Chorley BS offers.
They offer an Easy Access account for the over 60s with tiered variable interest of 3.25% / 3.35% / 3.45% AER. They say this is a limited issue account and available to eligible UK residents aged 60 years old and above only.
Why would anyone over 60 sign up for such an offering? Not exactly a bargain!
Many other accounts elsewhere offer a better rate and 4 other Chorley Easy Access Savers do too.
