  • Anyone know why I might not receive my monthly profit from gatehouse 120d notice account?

I have a number of notice accounts now - moving around with the help of this site.  I would also like to consider a business saver account notice or tracker.  I have never had one and cannot find a specific link as with this site. If anyone can suggest a site / link that would be appreciated.
  • have you had a look at Moneyfacts?
depending on the amount you have in mind to deposit, United Trust have a 180-Day 5.25% notice tracker (£5k) - i've got a tracker with them and never had an issue.

JD - thank you for taking the time to respond.  Will check this out for sure, sounds like something for me.

They seem to have reduced the rate for new applications and would be surprised if the new rate wasn't also applied to existing accounts at some point.
I've sent them a message asking for clarification of this.
Still getting 5.6 so loading it up when I get some spare

Me too.  I was thinking they might reduce it for existing accounts and opened HTB and Oxbury as a backup, but the 5.6% rate is still valid so I'm not in a rush to fund them.  HTB only needed £1 and Oxbury has 3 months' window.

Good while it lasted, but Just received from RCI...

I'm emailing to let you know the interest rate on your 95 day notice account is decreasing as of 29th April 2024.

The current rate and new rate payable on your account are detailed below for your information.

    Current rate

    New rate

    5.60%

4.95% Gross Variable Annual / 4.84% Gross Variable Monthly

If requesting in 14 days time funds should be received on the 30/04, however if requesting to receive funds on the 29th it may lead to a loss of interest for a couple of days due weekend and their processing timescales.

Maybe more advantageous to receive funds by 26th??

Just had an email from RCI. 95 day notice going down from 5.6% to 4.95% from 29th April. That is a big drop and will make it lower then the best currently available easy access.

Agreed. They were slower to reduce than I expected so can't complain. Also trying to work out what date to give notice.
