RCI 95 day notice is still showing 5.6% on their site but Cynergy 5.55% 120 days and Oxbury 5.51% 90 days are the highest on MSE. Anyone from MSE, can you shed any light on this.

Any idea why the RCI account isn't listed any more? I think it's the top notice account still?

RCI 95 day 5.60% is NLA for new customers, still available for existing... atm.
Can you make £1 test deposit?
Initial deposit has to be £1k, but nothing can can stop you from doing the test, they will send your £1 back and you will then know that the details you put in are correct.  I've stoped doing £1 tests a while ago, just triple check the details and deposit the minimum they ask for.

I really don't get this paranoid obsession people have with sending £1 test payments.

It's one of the best ways to get the next higher payment scrutinised more closely and possibly held up or blocked.

Is there really much point in using notice accounts at the moment

I have 10k being credited from a 95 Day account from HTB tomoz at 4.30%

Was just gonna dump it in the 5.20% Santander Easy Access Saver

If you don't need the funds now they're a very good option what with EA and RS accounts unlikely to move for a while to what is currently available with notice accounts and for such a short term which gives flexibility.

Clearly you're not one to keep up to date with changes having had money stuck at 4.30% when 5.35% to 5.60% have been available for months now.
Maybe but you don’t realise how long 95 days actually is to get your funds out to better accounts
    95 days perhaps ?

RCI 95 day notice now showing 5.3%. I expect I will get an email from them soon. :(.

Is this likely to affect existing customers? - Surely they will need to give us at least 95 days notice or the ability to withdraw without penalty if they reduce the rate ?

There are no issue numbers on their notice accounts so I expect it is for all account holders. They will give existing account holders 109 days notice before they reduce their rate. I am kicking myself because I recently had a fixed account with them and chose to put it in the 95 day account instead of 5.95% fixed. All their fixes are now uncompetative as well so I guess they have all the funding they need.

They have changed the rate but it still says "We’re currently not accepting new applications for this product."

    They say

We’re currently not accepting new applications for this product. If you’re an existing RCI Bank customer, you can apply by simply logging on to online banking and select the option to "Open New Account"

    Time will tell.

    RCI 95day 5.6%
If you don't like the potential move to 5.30% check your opening date, there's 14 day cooling off...

I haven't received my 109 days notice yet. Wonder when it will arrive?
