Notice Accounts

Apologies if this is already in the thread, does anyone know if Oak North allow for managing the notice account by telephone? I am struggling to find any decent interest accounts which do not require internet and/or smartphone.
Opening the account online is OK but telephone access would be beneficial.0 -
they have a telephone number for queries, but unsure if the account can be "managed" that way.. it's possible they may, but suspect they wouldn't want to open themselves to it becoming a norm.querying Moneyfacts gives First Save (90 days 5%) or Family BS (35 days @ 5% <10k) as the highest paying notice accounts that officially support telephone management.btw - Cahoot have an EA account (phone supported) paying 4.85% if you aren't necessarily looking for a notice account.3

Is that Cahoot the best EA account about? I'm looking to spread some money between accounts/0
-
Ulster Bank is still paying 5.2% for another 5 weeks before it drops to 4.75% - though I think you'd have to apply for their current account first now.... remember with both Ulster and Cahoot, you'll get 2 months notice on interest rate drops.Burcot said:Is that Cahoot the best EA account about? I made a deposit into both my Investec Flexi and 90 day notice accounts last Friday. I generated statements soon after and my new transactions were on it. Last Monday I made more deposits but these are not showing on the statements generated today. The deposits were definitely successful as I received confirmation texts for them and the transactions show on the dashboard. A chat online was fruitless and I was asked to email details which I have done and I wait in anticipation. Has anyone else made a deposit this week and generated a statement successfully?0

I have had the same issue - most recent two deposits showing on the dashboard following text confirmation but not in a generated statement. I was going to wait until the monthly interest date to see if anything changes before raising a query. Do please post any follow-up from your own.flobbalobbalob said:I made a deposit into both my Investec Flexi and 90 day notice accounts last Friday. Well it's now a week since the problem. My statements are now updated today (Friday). I don't know why yet as I'm still waiting for a reponse to my queery. Maybe it's a fixed bug but I'll do a £1 test on Monday. @Keith80flobbalobbalob said:I made a deposit into both my Investec Flexi and 90 day notice accounts last Friday. Thanks! Just produced one and the tool now seems to be working properly in my case too, which is a relief because I was reluctant to commit more to the account while it wasn't.Well it's now a week since the problem. I had a response today (Tuesday) that "they believe the issue has been resolved". @Keith80flobbalobbalob said:

Investec 90 Day reducing. Guess it was only a matter of time! That’s me giving notice on mine then.
