  • I think this will still be a good rate in January compared to EA/other accounts what with there being 2 more MPC meetings before that.

Investec 90 Day reducing. Guess it was only a matter of time! That’s me giving notice on mine then.

The only surprise is they've only cut to 5.05% AER. I've got the 95-day RCI account paying 4.95% and the Oxbury 90-day paying 5.0% from October (NLA). Neither have much in and clearly I'm not tempted to move anything to those 2. I've recently opened the DF Capital paying 5.3% but don't really expect that to last too long.
  • I think that by the end of the Investec notice period 5.05% will be a best rate.

Inclined to agree, retaining the balance on the account for that reason.

I didn't even bother opening.  I'm happy with DF 180d still paying 5.4% and secured OakNorth 95d tracker (currently 5.12%) with £1 as a back up.

Difficult to believe that the OakNorth tracker will be paying over 5% in the new year, but you never know.

Yes, it is very unlikely that BoE rate will stay unchanged for that long.
  • Apologies if this has already been mentioned here, but I cannot see anything. Some people are not getting Cynergy notifications of rate reductions and I am one of them. Does anyone know if the 120 day notice account issue 11 (NLA) rate is set to reduce? At the moment it is paying 5.3%. Thanks

Anyone having issues logging into OakNorth this morning? I have tried for the past 3 hours using the app on my iPhone but it constantly refuses to log in. I’ve sent an email to them but as yet no reply.
