  • DF 180d is still holding at 5.4%.  Probably not for long, but at least it guarantees the rate for 180 days + 14 days notice. The only notice account in my collection that is still worth funding, I've recently started depositing more into this account.

I'm exiting all my Oxbury accounts - £1k minimum to receive interest rule is the main reason, it doesn't work well in wind down scenario.  I'll keep RCI and OakNorth accounts going at £1 just in case.  Today I finally gave notice to close my Mansfield tracker because it doesn't make sense to keep £1000 there any more.
    What's "DF", please?

Thanks. No accounts for new savers, it seems.

Nothing indeed.  I wonder if they are on the wind down?

5.4% 180 Days Notice is something that was offered as a fixed rate bond maturity option, so I doubt many would hold this account.

I've got the 120 day 5.35% and am surprised I haven't been notified of a reduction yet.

Me too. DF has reduced Easy Acces from 5.2% to 5.1%, but didn't reduce notice accounts.  May be because of their exclusivity (they don't rush into reduction because there's not much cash in these accounts)???

Wish to exit asap my easy access, 90 and 120 day Oxbury accounts. However, like most people where can the dosh go?  I can see Vanquis 60 day might get some but where else?  Happy to put away for some months or easy access, best to spread for sure. Help appreciated.

The Investec 90-day notice saver pays 5.25%AER. £5k min, 104 days notice of a rate reduction. "Once your account is open, you’ll need to deposit the minimum opening balance within 60 days otherwise we’ll automatically close your account"

My Oxbury 120 notice ends on 28th August with a couple of 6.1% fixed bonds ending mid September. I’ve opened the Investec 90 day notice and will probably fund that if nothing better comes along.
