    Indeed, the majority of airlines "try it on".
    Given that in most cases on this board, there is a valid claim of one sort or another, the CAA really need to clamp down on the airlines who continue to deny the passenger their dues.
    The whole raison d'etre of EC261/2004 was aimed at reducing the massive inconveniences to passengers, primarily because of airline's business model/practices.
    Few have done anything over the past 18 years to improve the situation.
    They are being, at best disingenuous, at worst dishonest, with responses to passengers.
    Indeed, with Jet2 in particular, we have seen this summer, the blanket cut and paste response to quite a number of claimants who had/have a valid claim.
    This board is just the tip of the iceberg. Just imagine how many passengers are not getting compensation or expenses due.
