but if you register an interest by adding your email address they then send an email afew days later with an invitation to apply.
so it is open to new applications its just you have to tell them first your interested.

If memory serves, either earlier in this thread or in another John Lewis thread, a customer was told they could change the statement date of the New Day card after the 1st statement.0

We’ve had a joint John Lewis card for years - just tried to apply with the code and been turned down, no reason given (although I’m assuming it’s because we pay it off in full every month) Feel strangely insulted - asked to apply and then turned down. And I know it’s not John Lewis per se, but cant help feeling annoyed with them too!0
