I simply declined the offer.
I also got a push notification yesterday, saying that the levels will be changing in three days, effective 28 August 2022.
Forgive me, but we are still in July, aren't we? I haven't slept through a month

Does anyone know when the restrictions on the free Curve card were supposed to start?
I'd thought it wasn't until the end of August (received email about the changes on 28th June and was told that changes would come into effect 60 days from the date of the email) - but my Go Back In Time appears to have already been limited to three transactions a month.

Thanks - I'll try contacting them about this later today - as I still had quite a lot of going back in time to do!1

I've tried clarifying with Curve Chat. Am I right in thinking that I can use my curve card to pay for a car at a dealership, without paying any debit fronted credit card fees to curve, where that dealer does not accept credit card? Assuming I don't exceed the "free curve card" daily limit of £7500?0

Is there a reason in your scenario that means you wouldn't pay the 1.5% Curve fronted fee?0

I had in mind that Curve fronted was only for cash-like transactions such as HMRC, National Savings, etc. Whereas the car dealer is just a regular merchant, paying for a product, where they only accept debit cards.0

Be prepared for it not to work when paying for a car and have a backup payment ready0 -
I just used it today for £7500 with no issues at all0
