The maintenance was excessive. Every few years the felt roof needed attention, the ceiling boards sagged and fell off at random times. The wood outside would need painting. The floor would crack. Eventually, especially as the kids got older and used it less, we paid someone to remove it. We now have a concrete base in 4 sections that we don't know what to do with.
I'm jinxing it now but the floor and walls feel very solid, I foresee there may be some maintenance on the wooden facias but the rest probably not, but we shall see. The tiled roof looks decent, it's the ceiling that's the issue mostly.0 -

If you are keeping the dining chairs and table in there for any length of time it would pay to get some offcuts of wood or carpet and place between concrete floor and furniture to preserve finish on furniture.0

The old table (drop leaf).. we should really get rid I think - the legs were a bit too wobbly and rapid making for some nasty surprises!
The carpet offcuts is a great tip though - somewhere nearby also sells the samples for 50p a pop - which can be quite useful for all sorts! (even kneeling on!)0 -

Looks to be on a raised concrete plinth(?), block construction, PVC windows, a proper roof covering - a great addition to your hoosie.Do whatever you like with that place. :-) Wouldn't even take too much to make it fully 'habitable'.0

Some of the Tourpret filler over the holes shows me the difference a coat of white will make.
Sadly I spent the afternoon fighting with a next to the bed cot construction instead!1
