I could do with Hayle, Rockpool please.zhonguonuren said:
Is Hayle ok or is it Sennen you need?Fruitcake said:Thanks for the offer of help zhonguonuren. What we need more than anything is a video recording of someone using the PDT machine and entering both a full and correct VRM to show the machine only permits three characters, and entering an incorrect VRM to show the PDT machine is not typo-proof.
My friend is adamant the machine only lets you enter 3 characters. That's how they got the PCN. Not sure what the instructions say on it but a machine certainly does this.
It would be very useful to also video or just record the Rockpool staff telling you that 'this happens all the time and we've told the company' which is what they said to my friend.Could do with evidence! Thank you!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My friend's first appeal was rejected but they threw in the towel at IAS stage when faced with a photo of the machine.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think the London address is just a mailbox rental centre. A few of the parking and debt companies have prestigious W1, SW1 and WC postcodes- but these are just mailboxes and no companies are physically based there. What is the London one for these guys?zhonguonuren said:Also happy to go to Sennen and get a parking ticket! Is this the company with the registered office in London? I think it was moved from Cornwall because I asked to visit! I can visit in London in September to check it complies with the DVLA requirements (it won’t).
I found this article about multiple bogus companies registered to this address being forced into liquidisation by the High Court.

You too can register your business to this address for £49.99 a year.

Taking that statistic in isolation, there is nothing wrong with that.95Rollers said:

Back in the 1950's every limited company had to have a brass 'registered office' plate.
My father was an accountant. As a child I can remember being shown a four drawer filing cabinet full to the brim with brass 'registered office' plates.
That of course adds nothing useful to the discussion here.
