I just used travelinsurance-web.com and got 3 weeks cover in Cyprus for £11.50. This was cheaper than moneysupermarket.com (or whatever it is). Bargain!!:j Take That 23/12/2007:j :dance:0

Excellent value.
I did try adding in their wintersports cover (not that I needed it but just thought I would give it a go) and got a quote of £14705.61.
Ever had a feeling that somewhere something on their site is forgetting to divide by 100?

LOL - I assume you must have entered about 12 months as it's £28.27 according to a quote I've just run!?0

I have been trying to get travel insurance for my parents, who are coming out to visit us in Slovenia for a week in October. If it wasn't hard enough to find it for them because of their ages (69 and 70), the fact they have pre-existing medical conditions (angina, arthritis and something else I cannot remember...) makes it even harder.
What I wan is single trip cover, which will also cover them for thse conditions. Does anyone know any companies that cater for people like my parents and are affordable. A couple of quotes have worked out about the same cost of the holiday!0 -
Try
http://www.ageconcern.co.uk/AgeConcern/products_4153.htm
or
http://www.saga.co.uk/finance/travelinsurance/quote_restrictions.asp?prd=ST
I know no-one who has used either company, so don't know how cheap they are, but they certainly have no upper age limit for travellers.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I can't believe Martin's recommendation for cheap single trip travel insurance.
I've used Direct Travel (https://www.direct-travel.co.uk) for many years now and no one gets close to their quotes.
I've just insured for a week's travel to Spain at £9 all in with £10mln medical cover and £2mln liability cover.
Come on Martin you'll be hard pressed to better that anywhere.0 -
unless you'd actually read Martin guide, and seen that https://www.travel-insurance-web.com do it for £7.75...but granted you do have to be under 50.if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0

OK, new topic. Am going to China for 12 weeks, and annual insurance is generally cheaper than single trip policy. Who offers annual policy to niclude trips greater than 31 days?0
