For the last 2 years have bought my annual worldwide multi trip policy for £41.
Had to make a claim earlier this year and was dealt with quicly and efficiently.

Have you looked at a company called Primary Insurance? You can find them on here:
http://www.moneysupermarket.com/Link.aspSource=MSE&Section=travelinsuranceThe quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket. :rolleyes:0 -

That is because it is not the annual policy you have a quote for, but the single trip policy.
There annual policy has a limit of 31 days per trip.
The best annual travel insurance policy for your needs is the; http://www.liverpoolvictoria.co.uk/customer/protecting/travel/introduction.htm You can take up to 90 days per trip.
You have the option to exclude the USA/Canada to save money and to waiver all excesses. Many other options.
A proper insurance policy.0 -
and because liverpool victoria are such numpties you benefit because they'll pay out on pretty much anything
and it's got the benefit of being 'a proper policy'...well thats ok then, and it's the 'best annual travel policy for your needs', when the original question was about a single trip. lol!if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0 -
That's not a particularly useful post, is it Porker?
The original question;
"OK, new topic. Am going to China for 12 weeks, and annual insurance is generally cheaper than single trip policy. Who offers annual policy to niclude trips greater than 31 days?"
Proper in the way that you can tailor it to your needs.
Any more not so clever comments?0 -
Has anyone got an example quote from Liverpool Victoria for travel insurance? As has been pointed out above by Donnie they do have some sensible looking policy features, but you cant get an online quote from them. How much is their annual policy?if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0

I pay just over £90 for travel insurance for a couple. We can travel separately.
Full excess waiver. All options, excluding N America. 90 days per trip.

I've used https://www.travsure.co.uk for the past 3 years.
Tried Swiftcover seeing as my policy is up for renewal. £6722.20 for a couple's annual worldwide policy. I think I'll stick with Travsure..........0 -
My vote goes for travelsupermarket
who came up with £56.15 for annual insurance worldwide (incl USA) for me, Mrs Cat & Murphy The Kitten (2 year old).
Downside is double excess & baggage not covered - not a problem to me as never claimed in 15 years & baggage is covered on household policy.

Just phoned this number provided by Donnie and found out that it is an underwriter! They don't offer their own insurance at all! The lady also said they don't offer an excess waiver either for the companies they underwrite!!!!!!!2p or not 2p? That is the question!0
