Thinking about it you could use the remote to boost it, You would just have to look at the main controller for the fan icon, and the meter for '2'/daytime rate, You would't need it on all day just quick test to see if it should be working all day.

So it looks as if the Heat Pump is the double width circuit breaker immediately to the left of the mains switch (with Cooker crossed out).  I wonder, @meadowgrass, does the controller go off (blank) if that circuit breaker is switched off?

Also, every circuit on the "Off Peak Supply" unit is off (I think).  Has you changed anything or has it been like that since you heat pump was fitted?
I think its the new RCBO Breaker with very poor writing, The bottom part looks like Dan to me, pic   And the controller can be powered separately from a spur.

And i just spotted the rate times are on the meter

Thanks @markin Will see what I can do at some point, but well spotted about the times! Looking at that, possibly the main times I've been getting heat are the R2 times, but not the full hours as the heat comes in slowly.  Don't know if that makes any sense, but in the cold 6 months of noticing the cold particularly kicking in at midnight, when it's colder and much easier to notice, it makes me wonder.

Thanks, but there's not a night setback setting anywhere that I can see, but I did realise it's impossible to take further photos beyond the one below, as there are so many panel settings, and that I really must step away from this, as it's far too complex. Also, panel isn't positioned well, am on crutches and it's too difficult. No idea who thought these systems would be a good idea for disabled or elderly in sheltered housing; storage heaters were perfect, turn one dial and constant heat.
At 5.10pm when it's R2/day rates ('2' is flashing on the meter), this is the panel (time's wrong, I noticed, at top right).

Did you turn it to 10c for summer or has it always been set to that? if its always set to that would you not be constantly having to set 22c on the remote every day?

And as the clock is an hr off would it set back to 10c at 11pm?

Or is it not resting as the timers are always on 24/7 continuously?

It's always been at baseline of 10, but I'd used the remote to change the temperature manually up from that, as required. Turned it off last week though, as had said ... had to switch it on to take an image of the panel though.
Not sure otherwise, but, as I've said, I'm going to have to step back from this, as it's not a user-friendly system at all, so no offence intended if I don't respond further at this point. Thanks to yourself and everyone who has pointed out different settings in each post. I'll gear up to contacting the HA to enquire what can be done, and at least have the summer and autumn in which to do that. Cheers.

If that is acting at as the set back then setting that to 18 should be an easy fix, and then adjust the curve in winter if your to hot/cold.

As well as getting to the bottom of whether your system is on E10 you really need to get cozy with your Ecodan control panel.

YouTube is your friend for setting the compensation curve and there are service menu options for a legionella burn to kill nasties in the hot water tank.

From your latest picture you are not running the compensation curve which should be your first step.
