    Hi

After MSE's weekly email this week saying that you can get a £10 Amazon voucher for opening this account - I thought I'd try it as I wanted a new higher interest account and Amazon vouchers are always useful :-)

But I can't seem to make it work - I click on the MSE link which takes me to a page to enter my email address.  Then after clicking "sign up", it diverts to a page saying to download the Kroo App.

But how then is the link made, if you have to start a new application via the App?

Also when it links to the App, that states a lower interest rate of 3.6%.

Confused - has this worked for anyone else?

    Many thanks.

Don't worry, Kroo will link you by the email address - I'd use the same one when you sign up - and the QR code on the 'download the app' page.

    The rate isn't 3.85% until 01/07/23 i.e. it hasn't been increased yet.

You are better going through Top Cashback who are paying £15 cash.

If it works - mine's tracked at £0.00 since Feb

Mine tracked twice, at £0 and £21, on 31 Jan.  The £21 paid out on 17 March.  The £0 went to payable on 12 April.

Is there any guarantee that the Amazon £10 will be more robust than the £15 from TCB?

I opened an account with Kroo to get the £20 from TCB. One of the stipulations was to deposit £50, which I have done.

The T&C's don't say the money has to stay there. Does anyone know different? Otherwise I want to transfer it back out.
Did you ever find out if it needed to stay? Just opened an account myself and wondering if the £50 needs to stay in or not.

Still waiting for the Amazon voucher to be issued - did anyone manage to get one? Had £50 in there for around 40 days now but not had any contact since the initial opening.

I was also wondering how long it takes to receive the voucher. I can't remember if there was any indication given when opening the a/c through the MSE link.
  • I opened an account in June and iirc it's 60 day till the voucher, mine will be due about 20th August. Not sure if it's within or exactly 60 days. But I've not had the Amazon voucher yet.
