I wonder if they’ve done an automatic cull of all outstanding applications to clear the system. I only say this because my wife applied at 7:15 on Sunday evening (26th) & her account was approved and open by 7:30.

Have they given a reason for rejection? It might be worth contacting them & checking if a re-application is feasible.

I signed up on 24 January.

I was 01/02/24 so hopefully in the next week mine will go to confirmed status

I am still waiting for them to open my account or answer my messages - applied around the same time

Applied, uploaded ID promptly and heard nothing for three weeks, then a message pops up saying I've been verified.

Card arrived promptly after that and everything works well. Not a bad spending account for someone like myself who mainly makes cash withdrawals and therefore doesn't necessarily benefit much from rewards based on debit card spend. Nice card design too. Not sure that, interest aside, it offers much I can't already get from Starling or Monzo mind.

It's reported that Kroo will be increasing the interest rate on their current account to 3.33% on 1 April.

Only online source I can find is the Di-ly Express so obviously I'm not posting that link.
