Morning all
Hopefully the situation with DS and his student house is resolved, and we have done everything we can. Yesterday was a very stressful day. He will stay here until Monday then get the train with the bare essentials to pick up the keys for his student house. This is assuming that payment has gone through from his housemate. We will follow on with the rest of his stuff next weekend.
So I am now getting ready to go away for a much needed break, love to you all, hope there are no dramas while I am away and everything is OK with you all xx

Morning all,
Have a lovely break, YL. We are also waiting to hear that all housemates have paid their rent so that keys can be picked up on Monday.
Full on week at work again. The pace is relentless, with 4 of us holding it together. Thanks, Mr HMRC, I really needed an audit added to my stress levels. Take your place in the queue.DD is away until tomorrow evening, so today I have one less set of random requests likely to throw me off course. DH will probably have plans, but has not yet shared.I have HHI to clear, bathroom to clean, a very dry allotment to attend to. The forecast was for rain all day, but that now sadly seems to be getting pushed back into oblivion. Having finally watched the GBSB final last night, I really want to get the sewing machine out, but need rain as my excuse.
Have a good day. Hugs to all, especially YL, Valli and Round xxx8 -
Morning all
having a lie in, it’s raining atm.DW x 1, haven’t run the WM as there isn’t a full load as I don’t mix colours.
Cleaned my living room Thursday so still dining room, hall, stairs & landing to do. And study but that’s a dump, still.
DD will clean her own room.
Also need to wash car and clean inside of windscreen.
went out last night for a curry in a quaint little restaurant in the national park…built against a cliff so windows on one side only. They are unlicensed so it’s BYO but no corkage! On the way back I stopped and put up the banner for the Handlebards performance later this month because (a) I was passing and (b) I had no intention of doing it in daylight. Plus I had helpers! I had no secco to drink so I didn’t get to meet one of the Traffic Cops 😇

After another challenging week at the paid stuff I'm glad to reach the weekend. Understatement of the week!
Crisps and cornflakes for tea last night. Flumped in front of Wimbledon on telly every evening. Naughty Flylady. (Does this face look bothered? 😜 - nope. Not gotanyenergyleft to summon up botheredness.....or type spaces apparently 🤣)
However. DS messaged me in the week. Did I know where his Gameboy charger was? Thissit? Yayyy. Mammy of the Year award. See it's chaos, but it's my chaos so I know where things are / might be. Sometimes 😉
I'm up. Made my bed. Brought down the laundry hamper. Taken my meds. Supped two brews. Checked the weather forecast.
Wimbledon AND British Grand Prix this weekend! But I will flutter in between.

Evening all,
We went to the carnivial today.
Did a food shop
Got Fuel
DP cooked dinner
Not alot of flying done. Dd had a massive melt down leaving the carnival because she didn't win on the raffle 😕 trying to explain to a 5 year old as she's shouting and crying it's not fair that life isn't always fair isn't easy. I think she was tired because she fell asleep as soon as we got home. 😴
Now watching a film with the kiddies. Then I'm having an early night because I'm knackered now 😴

Good morning all xx
I got my washing line-dried yesterday afternoon. And brought it in before we had a torrential downpour ....equals a happy Round. Looking at the sky we'll be having another one on the near future.
Stayed up til 11 watching Montalbano- I usually retire at 10. Staying up later has led to me sleeping in later, and now I have that groggy bleurgh heavy headed feeling. I'm hoping that a couple of brews will help.
Round 1
Shower and wash hair
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling

Sending love to all

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Yesterday was spent with grand babies so only basic flying done. Today I have walked the dogs, done dailies, s&sd bathrooms and done most of the packing for our holiday. DH has already left. I'm not going until tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.8
