Naughty boy that I am, but in fairness, the M4 Fri, Sat and Sun was flowing well, even the middle lane was 80+ at times. My local motorway is the M27 so you'll have to explain 80+ to me.Getting 2 out of 10 right in that poll is less than you'd get for random guessing which suggests the FUD we've seen has been quite succesful.

What do you guys think of the Nissan Leaf? Would you recommend another option in the same price category?0

It gets especially complicated with the Leaf, due to its charge connector, but personally, if you aren't planning to drive it long distances every day, then the 40kWh model is available new on Autotrader for sub £20k (~45% off), which is a lot of car for not a huge amount of money.williscreg said:What do you guys think of the Nissan Leaf? So as a daily runaround with home charging, at the very least I wouldn't say to not consider it. [What an appalling sentence, but hopefully it makes (some) sense.

In which price category though.williscreg said:What do you guys think of the Nissan Leaf? Would you recommend another option in the same price category?
As a cheap second hand, id definitely recommend it.
Picked one up 6 years ago and have replaced a set of tyres and a drivers side bottom ball joint in those 6 years and 26k miles.
As a new car... if it was a good deal, sure, but realising they are pretty much end of life these days, I definitely wouldn't be paying list price.West central Scotland

Can you be certain it was a result of driving that car, asking for a friend!

We have a Leaf and a Tesla. The Tesla is an electric car. The Leaf is a car powered by electricity. It feels like an ordinary car, has many features from Nissan that are standard to the micro/ Note/ Juke. That said it’s fine as a runaround. We have off street parking, so charging isn’t an issue and for longer journeys we use the 75kwh Tesla, so the Chademoe charging isn’t an issue.williscreg said:What do you guys think of the Nissan Leaf? We have never had issues with chademo charging but rapidgate is a real thing if you plan a journey needing more than 1 charge stop.
Leaf prices at all ages are now very cheap and as reliability is generally good I would consider a 8 years 24 at 2.5k, a 6 year old 30 at 4k, a 4 year old 40 at 7k and a 4 year year old 62 at 10k all to be good value.
Pre reg 40s start at about 14k
If you are shopping new also look at carwow where other brands, especially mg, can be had from 18.5k
I think....2
