IMHO, given there is an election coming soon, any tax reductions in the next budget will be focused on reaching the widest possible pool of individuals. New car buyers, hence new EV buyers, is quite a small pool of individuals.1 -

Completely pointless, why would you want a fake transmission, or why would you want to add the complexity of a semi automatic transmission.
