Same article will hopefully be copied by all the local papers soonUseful to have this wide coverage as with Cornwall being a holiday destination with visitors from all over the country, having the article similarly widespread will act as a trigger for action for those who have been caught out by this, or as a warning to anyone holidaying there this summer to avoid Armtrac car parks like the plague, there is little good to come out of them.Armtrac are there to catch you out, not to provide you with a first class parking facility to help you to enjoy your vacation and encourage you to return again in the future. No money for them in that!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Mass refunds are needed, though, for all the other victims who have paid up, or seen their lease/hire form just pay it.
Not just those who complained. All the victims.
The way to achieve that is to complain to the IPC and the DVLA. As long as you have already made a complaint to the PPC (even if your own PCN has been cancelled) you can escalate a complaint to the DVLA and IPC and tell them about the concerns that hundreds of people this year (possibly also in 2021) are owed refunds.
This requires a proper investigation because the DVLA has been unquestioningly giving out data to Armtrac like sweeties.
My friend will be doing a formal complaint to the DVLA with my assistance. We won't let this lie.
How dare they do this to a friend of mine and others on this forum.
For starters, as has been identified by us already, changing the instructions written on the machine won't change how it is configured! These machines at Sennen Cove and Rockpool are pre-set to only allow a person to type in 3 characters.

My experience of complaining to the IPC is that all they did was forward the complaint to the PPC then mark it as closed, each and every time.
The ICO need to get involved with this once the DVLA has whitewashed complaints.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
