    The problem is under what legal basis would you be suing them? And then the eye watering cost of doing so along with the risk of losing and being hit by their costs as well.

    If more people do this they may do something

    I am sure they knew about the machine asking only 3 digits and sending PCN. They saw most people pay because they thought they really made that mistake. So its actually a fraud and contradict their terms and conditions.

    It may be, but fraud is a matter for the police.

    I think we may have far more fun if Trading Standards and the press pick up and run with this story.

    If that generates enough NOISE then the police may take an interest, but for now I suspect not. In the long term the more important issue is evidence for the upcoming public consultation, this is gold dust.
