Can I join?
I've spent £3 cash so far, and £14 on food on my UNISON Prepaid card, which is a cashback card when you shop at Sainsbury's, Boots, Wilko....9 -
Had an email today from Bakery Bits about their sale which lured me into temptation so the Baking Fund spent £5.90 on 2x flour and 3x jumbo rolled oats making the new total for this month £8.90/£20.
On the other hand, I can claim a NSD for yesterday and concocted all of today's meals from leftovers and fridge rubble so 1 step backwards and 1 step forwards I think.8 -
Morning,
Week 2 I spent £6.60 at Mr W and £40.68 at Mr T, so over my weekly budget by £1.28. It is certainly challenging trying to keep within this budget, but I will do my best.
Take care all.

I've already spent £115.95 this month, pretty evenly split between Stores, and Fresh food. Then there is DD & Subscriptions. Milk is now £9.03 a week *(up from £7.35) and I know I have a big river delivery this week - the deadline looms and I will see if anything needs cullingSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Two A1d1 trips (£13.05 yesterday and £50.71 today) and another visit to the local bakery (£6.40) to declare.£217.13 / £550, £332.87 remainingI'm feeling pretty good as we've got food bought to last until the middle of the month, so there's plenty left to get us through the month. We can ever splurge on our hols or keep reigning it and carry it over to next month, either outcome is a nice option to have. We're embracing the packed lunch over mediocre and overpriced meals on days out.All the little ways you guys stretch stuff out and use things up has inspired me. This week I'll be making a lentil soup that mostly follows a recipe but will also incorporate all the fridge detritus that I haven't found a job for yet. I've also discovered the intense experience that fresh lemon and ginger tea is, I wish I'd been making that last week when I was low with a virus, my sinuses got a spring clean this morning 🤯. Mr A's teabags are woeful compared to Pukka but I'm not paying £3.50 for 20 teabags😱, and Sainos delivered a giant piece of ginger a few weeks ago, so the ginger and spare lemons now have jobs too.

Afternoon everyone, just caught up with the thread. I’ve had a few NSDs but spent £2.84 (Can’t actuallly remember where or what on
this week has been a bit of a blur) and Husband spent £6.66 on toilet rolls and snack at work. Should of been a shop yesterday but didn’t feel well enough, should of been a shop today but middlest was being stubborn about walking
But I will need to “pop” to the co 0p later for some milk and trying to decide wether to have their ‘freezer £5 filler’ if they have the stock anyway.
£15.88/136 spent so far.6 -
£56 tesco delivery so £110/£240 left.8
