Well done Squeak.Cut grass and done some weeding, it seems I have a slightly sun burnt neck, I am anoyed at myself as it has been overcast most of the afternoon, cats caught themselves a mouse, and spent the afternoon chasing it about!.DInner doneOH says he is off to a local beer festival.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Aww well done Squeak, what an achievement even if she was kind of thrown into it!
Feel absolutely fine, if still a bit congested and snuffly. Although I have been pretty poorly with Covid I havent had this fatigue that everyone talks about, it cant hit me now surely? I am 11 days since first symptoms.
Full day at the paid stuff WFH, went for a 30 minute walk in the sunshine in my lunch break. Shopping delivery received and put away, quick Friday night freezer tea eaten. Kitchen tidied and cupboards wiped down, one load of washing out, dried, folded and put away.
Feet up now.10 -

I spent most of the afternoon cooking. Collected K and the girls at 5.30, fed everyone - the pastitsio and birthday cake went down very well (separately!) - and took them back to the church hall, where they'd left their car, at the same time as taking DH to wargames. Came home, loaded the DW, WU pans and LTD. I have gone through 3 T-shirts today, all with spatterings of Bolognese-type sauce on them
Off to do Rosie's walk now, and when I come back I shall just sit and stare at whatever's on the gogglebox. I am shattered
Welcome back MadamMim - I have spotted you lurking

I now have 3 bites.. 2 are about 6inch across and burning hot and oozing.. the other one is a bit smaller but rapidly growing.. I have a feeling tomorrow OH might be trying to get me to the walk in place.. who has time for that? Ballet and musical theatre, a speedy Tesc0 run and then Spams birthday party.
We are watching Merlin with Squeak still and Travellers when she goes to bed.
I might scavenge ice cream when these 2 go down.DW loadedremaining washing brought in off the line
OH and Dot playing Minecraft together. She has had a hard week at school, she spent most of today laid on the classroom floor saying she was hot and tired and hungry. The teachers just left her because she was not being disruptive but they could see she was just done this week with the changes and the heat and sports day and they just left her so she didn't meltdown on them.
On with knitting this next cardigan..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)5 -
Morning all xx
Had an appalling week at the paid stuff and it's ramped up my anxiety levels. Unlike the amazing Squeak 👏 I have given in to the gremlins hobnail booting in my head.
So a steady stress free weekend is on the agenda. And breathe.
I'm up, made my bed, need to change my pillowcase as I've chewed my bottom lip in my sleep and made it bleed. Sure sign that I'm pushing myself too hard. And breathe...
I'm dressed, got 2 loads of washing pegged out, I've fed the birds, refilled the bird bath and the hedgehogs' water dish.
To Do Today List
Put out the rubbish
Replace bin bags
Tear up & recycle pop box
WUDUPA
Put a battery in the living room clock (it's been 20 to 7 for several days now!)
When I was pegging out the washing one of NN's chickens was watching me through a hole in the fence. Hello Mrs Chicken. I do love chickens 🐔 😍
Hope everyone is having a good day

Hello, sorry for the lack of posting aka lack of flying this week.
Work has been frantic, car played up and went into the garage. Upshot is that it has passed its MOT, but the problem isn’t resolved and I’ve lost confidence in driving it. This morning has been spent trawling garages and planning on spending money that we really didn’t want to spend on a car.
Wm is now running, DH apparently vacuumed the LR yesterday, so I have skimmed the duster around the downstairs. Just remembered that I need to do the same in our bedroom.
DH and I still have the after-covid cough, which is annoying. Otherwise we seem to be over it. Hope you are too, YL.
Well done, Squeak, you superstar.
Need to get that washing hung up, and sort the fridge - bane of my life. Have also promised to make DD a pavlova, but I can’t think why!!5 -
Dry washing brought in and FU.
Dead fledgling sparrow removed from outside kitchen window 😥
My head is all over the place. Discombobulation in extremis 🤪

Hello all. Well done Squeak. Round, just hugs.
I haven't done any flying other than dailies for days, but work has been ok, I've had fun and I've spent time with both grand babies, even if I did get covered in sick today.
I aspire to do gardening tomorrow morning before playing in a match tomorrow afternoon.
Spend less now, work less later.8
