Well done Squeak if she feels confident enough to get the bus home on her own tomorrow that is amazing!

We have had a surprise visit from DS1, I chickened out of telling him he has another hospital appointment in August.  I will pick my moment, he is now supposed to be seeing two consultants for regular appointments at separate times and may just have a meltdown and refuse to do any of it.

I feel almost human despite still having problems with my sinuses which is such a relief.  Short day in the office then I cooked tea and put kitchen to bed but little other flying done.  Oh but I set a load of washing going.

She doesn't and neither do we.. but she has to get herself home from next week because there is no one to go get her.. thrown in the deep end..

Washing brought in, folded and is now upstairs waiting to be put away.

WM's both on. I will hang that out or up in the morning weather dependent

Twinkle has her sports day tomorrow morning.. I hate sports day.. I was busy today so missed the other 2's but it is her first one so I kind of feel like I should... send OH... lol.. sounds like a plan!

Woohoo we have our internet and phone back!  Needless to say, the engineer who was meant to come today between 1pm-5pm arrived at 8.30am. However he fixed the bit Mr N snipped and seems they won't charge us - we wondered, as it wasn't the company's fault.
Got up planning to run then noticed the rain. Oh well, had breakfast instead - then it stopped.  However I did a very large amount of gardening.  Rubbed eyes most of the day, despite having taken a hay fever tablet, some hay fever eye drops and some dry eye drops. 
Filled bird feeders.
Went to drum lesson. Am liking the new teacher.
Went river swimming, decided it is my new routine for a Thursday as it isn't far from the music college. Lovely, about 40 mins seeing just ducks, moorhens and chicks, dragonflies and wagtails. 
Rang SIL as DB still working in France.
Did a few daily cleaning/tidying bits.

Pigpen, surely one of your other children of a suitable age, who are 'at home' could go and fetch her back from school, some of them from what you write don't seem to be too busy at the moment, maybe a rota of some sort.

Kaz that is what we have been doing this week.. OH has dropped DS2 off and he has got the bus with her but it has been really late. He couldn't do every day because he had a job interview and a job centre meeting 2 days.. I don't trust Boog with her, he is a kn0b and Meem isn't here at the moment, DS1 and Tiddles are working, DD2 is in Wales.. DD1 has her own to collect.. I am going to speak to my mother about picking her up.. I picked hers up for long enough 4 weeks won't kill her! We are looking at options.. I have asked for a bus pass for her from September.. She will be getting the bus to school from Monday so She will get used to it which will make coming home easier.. I hope! The morning bus stops in the school grounds so is easy.

Washing out.

I need to take glasses for another repair and then we are heading to Tesc0 to do a packup/cereal/juice shop. I have a whle £84 for the week.. for 10 of us.. This may be tight.. I may have to write a very strict list!

Morning all 

I've been on this thread before. I've had times where I was consistent and other times where I have dipped in and out but with only 3 weeks till the kids break up for summer I want to get my life and home In order. I'll dedicate each day off between now and then to a room. Or a few small areas. At the moment my goal is too declutter and get the house to a presentable level. Then keep on top of it with daily and weekly jobs. My mental health has been more stable recently but the house causes the Black dog to resurface when I least expect it so for mine and my children's mental health I need to get this hell hole sorted. My mother would be mortified ... she has ocd and has always had a spotless home. That is not my aim my aim is for a home that is a safe place for us to enjoy and relax. Currently listening to the audio book the chaos cure. Written by the flylady herself. It was on my libary app so hasn't cost me anything. I've really enjoyed it so far and feel less overwhelmed already.

Good to see you back, mumof3.  Don't expect miracles in a day (or even 3 weeks ) - just remember that better is enough to be going on with xx

- Kitchen and bathroom S&S'd
- Frozen blocks of mince defrosting
- Clean washing FUPA
- Toilet rolls and kitchen rolls ordered for home delivery
- Beds made
- Downstairs hoovered through, and I've brought the Dy$0n upstairs with me to de-fluff the study carpet
- DH emptied the kitchen bins
- Small shop done for tonight's meal - it's my friend K's birthday, so she is bringing the 2 girls here for tea
- Bills paid online

I need to bake a birthday cake and make pastitsio.  Still aspiring to do more.  Maybe I can do the filing before getting lunch...

Made a start on our bedroom. 

Have tones of washing today because it's all been mixed up 😭 

Im going to get the lounge sorted now ready for when the kids get home and then ill go back to finishing our room.

Welcome home Mumo'3 .. I'm back in this week for about 12 years of doing very little.. Everyone is in school so I have no excuses though I still try!

Squeak has been persuaded to try to get the bus with her friend.. she can do this.. and I have a tracker on her phone and she will be fine getting on with her friend and I will meet her off the bus, the stop is the end of the street.. and I have the bus app so I can track the bus too!

Shopping done and away so tomorrow I can take Squeak to the car and IH can dash in and grab cookies.. it is out 'after dance' tradition.

I have 2 very sore, very large bites .. one on each leg.. it's joyous.. one is in the crook of my knee and absolutely agony.. the other is the bottom of my right calf and I ban it every time I get out of the car.. these are oing to be another month long saga with antibiotics and steroids again.. I have bug sprayed myself.. which set my wheezy chest off so I had to deal with that too.. I need shooting!

anyway.. trekking off to get Dots glasses fixed and OH can do drinks and feed himself

I had a sudden tired spell after we picked the kids up (I suffer with fatigue) I honestly thought I was going to faint or fall asleep. I've sat down for the last hour watching man vs bee with ds1. Feel abit better than I did and i stayed awake!   I'm going to get dinner started. Ds1 has youth group tonight. 

Then ill Get DP to bring all the washing down  from our room, ill sort my bag out for work tomorrow and clothes for tomorrow and my uniform
Sort all the laundry out in the lounge. And then I'm going to be good to myself and once the kids are settled I'm going to sit and read my book 📖  and hopefully fall asleep at a reasonable time for once.
