Squeak has not had a good day.. emailed school and chased the referral with the neurodiversity team.. I will be chasing SALT tomorrow.

It has been very hot today.  we had lunch outside and our bare arms were burning within 5 minutes.  Tea outside was much pleasanter.

However, I have managed to do most of my list.  The one thing that really mattered was writing a reference with regard to someone's job application, and that has been completed, checked and emailed to the prospective employer in good time for the interview on Friday.  The front garden is now much tidier, thanks to J, and I'm just about to put a load of washing in before falling into bed.

Iona.. thank you.. I have sorted Dot so now I am on Squeak.. DS1, meem, moomin.. and her friend.. are sorted too... it is never ending.. once I have done this one I need to chase up on Twinkle and her blood tests.

and  5 minutes spent ont he worktop of doom.. it is a useless bit of work surface so it is constantly full of junk.. I really wish it wasn't there!

Valli, it is no fun for anyone.. horrible weather.. I don't like snow either but most other weather is ok.. it is the extremes which are nasty. And I have sore eyes and my hayfever is really bad.. and I need to find my bug bracelets.. I have had a few bites and it is only a matter of time before i get one to try killing me.

French doors and all windows which can safely be opened are open.

I have a raging headache again.

WM's will go on shortly when I have slurped my tea and I have a nail appointment at 11.. I may fancy some big silly russian lashes.. so I look like a winky doll!! lol

Sore bear is even more upset now, via fb he has found out his son has got married yesterday, no text or phone call, he has not even met the wife................. not really a lot I can say except keeping out of his way.

Plus I get to pick up my 1 million step diabetic t shirt this afternoon as I had it transfer printed. Getting set for July Aug Sept to do the 1 million..........   These boots are made for walking.........

Hello all.  Hope you're all ok.  

I have done a work shift after walking dogs at 6am, been for a short walk with friends and have been redoing our budget yet again as DH has accepted a part time permanent role.
Bit more admin and a repair job to do.

Squeak went off to school happy today.. let's see what the day brings.

offsprung upset.. The government have said they are doing a £650 'cost of living' payment for those on universal credit.. and I said given it is for the extra cost of utilities and food etc I want all of it..if they are choosing to not work they can contribute the money the government has told them it is for food and bills.. none of which they pay! They can cover the utility bill for winter. 'cost of living' is not snacks and computer parts!

Checked the neighbouring houses at the behest of the estate agents.. there have been squatters and break-ins so I am their go-to for nosey-neighbouring to make sure the properties are secure.. they are not!

Squeak had a MUCH better day.. As soon as the fire alarm started the SENCO ran to find her and kept her in her office until she was calm enough to go back to class.. naughty year 11's no doubt on their last day!!

Tomorrow she is getting the bus home.. alone.. by herself.. unaccompanied.. I may have pooped by the time she gets home.. and OH is quite likely to have had 3 heart attacks!

DS2 has taken her to her music lesson.

Swimming is cancelled on Saturday because half the staff have the 'rona

Spam is 10 today.. that has FLOWN!!!

I will bring in the washing in a minute before the rains hit.. it is looking like it is clouding over out there but it is stifling with no moving air and just hot stagnant soup you are supposed to breathe

I have to figure out how to be in 3 places at once on 16th July.. one at music, one at musical theatre and one at ballet 2 miles away..
