TY Round and Kaz.. she was terrified.. By the time we got there you couldn't even tell I had brushed her hair she had flipped it out of the plait with her tics! She went in fine and has everything including the kitchen sink in her bag. I have been well behaved and I only messaged once saying I hope she is loving it and having fun.
I have however..
Loaded the WM's
Done the DW
Spent 45 minnutes on the phone with my mother (my cousin died last Friday)
Gathered laundry from around the houseDone Tax Credits renewal which I was sure I had already done but apparently not.OH has minced the hedgeEmptied the binsMade lots of tea
Found the necessary info I needed for TC
We are now heading to my sisters then my mothers then to the tip.. fun times!
I like everyone at school!! I even looked at the vacuum cleaner!!

Hope Squeak had a good day.
I have been very good, I did some WFH this morning then sat in the garden and read. I should be at an important meeting tonight so will fret until I know that's all gone OK. Work dont want me in tomorrow (had to report that I am still testing positive) but I am hoping that I can go in Wednesday. Going a bit stir crazy at home but I am tired now so maybe it's no bad thing.
Flying is limited to making the bed and keeping the kitchen presentable. It says something when I dont even have the inclination to run round with the cordless hoover.8 -
I too hope that Squeak has had a good day, even though she is probably worn out now, and that Pudding has managed to persuade her to play for a while
I did some more of the endless admin early this morning, paid money in at the PO, delivered some letters by hand, and then took a friend out for coffee at our nearest GC before driving to the market town to exchange some clothes that I bought yesterday and buy various bits. This afternoon I have made the sponge, lemon curd and amaretto biscuits for the Jubilee trifle for friends coming for a meal tomorrow evening, so just the chocolate, coulis and custard to do early tomorrow morning.
Oh, and I bleached the shower mat which looked disgusting but is now sparkly clean.
A bit more admin to do now, and then I shall watch LLF and have an early night.
Fingers crossed that Narc0 and YL will feel less tired tomorrow xx
Hope it was worth glamming up for the event, Jazee! x

It was worth glamming up Ionafan. An outdoor event and I got lots of compliments so I must look a right state normally.
Flying wise, I did all dining room jobs from the list, dusted living room and bedroom, changed bedding and sofa covers and did three wash loads which all dried on the line. Also whizzed the hoover round downstairs. Dailies got done and the dogs had one walk.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Squeak had a good day, everyone asked where she was from, most thought she was Irish.. ancestrally yes she is.. about 70%!! Lots asked about her tics and everyone asked if she was the new girl.. She won't be new for long I am sure! She is looking forward.
Collected stuff from my sisters.. and my mothers.. picked up Squeak.. brought her home.. picked up more stuff from my mothers.. went to tip.. went to pick up DS1 to help pick up a chair for my mother.. picked that up, put her old chair in the boot to take to the tip tomorrow.. stayed at my mothers far too long.. fed the girls, did pack ups sorted uniforms and I am now sat in my chair and not moving.. I will grab my knitting in a minute but I am so very done for today.

Awww Squeak, well done, and have a lovely day tomorrow. All flyladies are rooting for you.
I loaded towels into the wm before work, cooked dinner and WULTD after work, so that all gave me the justification to post today 😉.
DH is listening to some neanderthal music. DD has retreated to her room. I have found some LO Christmas ginger biscuits. Very yummy, probably not helping the slinky which (thanks to covid) had been going so well these last 2 weeks.7 -
Glad Squeak had a good day.
Engineer coming to fix phone and Internet on Thursday.
Went for a run.
1 load washing done.
Bird feeders filled.
Did more of a report.
Bit of kitchen flying.
Made ourselves a packed supper and went to RSPB Fowlmere for the evening. No turtle doves Ionafan but a kingfisher, 3 fallow deer, stalking heron so a lovely evening.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Pleased that Squeak had a lovely day. Your evening sounds grand Narco.
Morning everyone. I'm up early again.
Aspirations for today are cutting grass and mopping floors. Also going to exercise class but that depends if the dogs are back from the groomer by then.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8
