I really wish NHS Trusts would stop calling poxy ANPR PCN machine firms their 'partners':
https://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/23518316.angry-warrington-hospital-staff-hit-parking-fine-enforcement/
"Dan Moore, Chief Operating Officer at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals said: “We work closely with our partners to ensure that employees or contractors with valid permits who park safely and responsibly do not receive a parking charge."
Come on. ANPR does not check that anyone parks 'safely'.
Get over yourselves and get real.
Highview are reportedly harassing your hospital staff, visitors and patients and are certainly not your PARTNERS.
Jeez that grates.
Why are the NHS so deluded about what ANPR really does to 'rape and pillage' those who can least withstand or afford it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hmmm... here we go again.
The BPA's 'finest' issuing auto-PCNs apparently unchecked (ANPR = PCN machine again) then sweeping their own failure under the carpet, once people sussed and showed THEM that three payment machines were not working:
ParkingEye has issued a statement following a number of complaints after customers were fined at South Shields Asda.https://www.shieldsgazette.com/news/people/parkingeye-issue-statement-following-asda-parking-fines-4118175
How about an apology...no?
Ordinary notorious victims not worthy if apologies, because they don't own supercars like the PE Directors?
PEye said:“Despite a payment machine being fully operational during this time, all parking charges issued during this period have been cancelled and those affected will be notified by letter."
The newspaper reports:
"The issue has left many customers angry with some refusing to shop at the South Shields branch again due to ParkingEye."
As always. It's one more thing killing the recovery of the High Streets, and the DLUHC need to hear about this from us all.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

APCOA are reportedly behind this lunacy at a car park at/near High Wycombe station:

Absolute joke. @bargepole might be interested!

PARKING EYE
The BPA's 'finest' ?
Maybe at one time ... PE now are just part of the BPA membership scam
AND PE SAY:-
“Despite a payment machine being fully operational during this time, all parking charges issued during this period have been cancelled and those affected will be notified by letter."
WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH BY PE ?
If they really thought the pay machines were operational at the time, why would they cancel
Come on ParlingEye ..... cut the crap
AND APCOA .... just another operator that the BPA allow to scam
"APCOA, for God's sake... you work for councils and are meant to be one of the better BPA members."
Because the BPA has totally lost control of their members, APCOA have followed all the other money scammers.
When GOVE MP gets off his toilet seat and releases the consultation, I for one will be highlighting why the BPA cannot be fit for purpose

TONY HETHERINGTON: £155 parking fine is the real crime! | This is Money
His company's letter is threatening someone with "magistrates court" and "criminal proceedings"? I would like to see this letter.
If ot says this then his company ate committing fraud! Parking is a civil matter, which isn't entertained at criminal courts. So he is effectively coercing people into paying money he isn't lawfully entitled to. This is obtaining property (money) by deception!

Hospital parking can be managed without these firms. I remember going to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage years ago where the security dealt with parking and would issue out PCNs, but these were low value at £5/10 and the money went back into the Hospital.
The NHS get zero from their carpark "psrtners". The NHS management leave a lot to be desired.

The landowner should be ashamed of this conduct by their useless agent. That's not parking enforcement, it is an 'outrageous scam' fuelled by greed. This will be a P&D machine not working and instead APCOA sent someone along to charge genuine train service users (who COULD NOT JUST LEAVE) £100 a pop for their own likely system failure.
APCOA, for God's sake... you work for councils and are meant to be one of the better BPA members.
Locals will know that there is a second car park in Duke Street, by the rear entrance to the station, which is Council operated, no PPC involved. You can park there all day for £6, and must purchase a pay and display ticket. But you need to get there before 8:00am, as it fills up quite quickly.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.7 -
Not strictly on-topic as it refers to a council run car park but it did make me laugh. The parking attendant that issued them all must have thought they were up for a promotion with this lot nabbed!

As you say, it's now being reported as a Council PCN screw-up:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12093815/Council-admits-mistake-slapping-tickets-vehicle-car-park.html
@bargepole - different car parks then. Now reported as the Council ones you mentioned - Duke Street and Railway Place - and the Council says:
"We are sorry for any inconvenience and upset caused. Anyone who has been ticketed should take no further action as the notices will be cancelled, and anyone who has already paid the PCN charge will be refunded".

Umkomaas said:The popular in-store cafe is understaffed, and you can wait up to 30 minutes for them to bring your order at busy times. The store itself is a large version, and there is usually another queue for the self-service checkouts. On that front, Mrs U and I have used the M's greasy spoon cafe, in two different locations, a number of times, and I can honestly say, that on most occasions they have got our order wrong or badly prepared. You only have to look at the vacated tables and the discarded, half-eaten, food to see that we are not the only ones to have experienced that misfortune.4
