The BPA should step in but any thin shred of confidence in them has probably slipped to a nullity since Steve Clark left.
Who might now be behind the surge in DCB Legal private parking activity. Any comment Mr Clark, we seem always to have previously had a sensible dialogue?
The coincidence is far too great and it's obvious.
I have thought the same ever since Clark joined DCBL.

Why would DCBL SUPPORT rubbish claims from UKPC only then to discover that they really after rubbish claims after all

After Clark left the BPA, there was a missed opportunity to put their house in order such as the fake add-ons.  They know government want these fakes such as "damages" banned ..... the BPA failed and have ended up as the biggest scam membership club we have ever seen.

Whilst not a direct article on parking operators this could have an effect on motorists that have allocated parking spaces. It will give them more control to manage their properties.

Apartments where the freehold is owned collectively tend to fetch more than apartments that are leasehold. Properties with a short number of years left on the lease are difficult to sell as mortgages on these properties become hard to obtain.

PCM issuing tickets like confetti as per usual, at residential sites:

"Pictures from when he was ticketed on January 10 show what appears to be melted snow and slush covering parts of the windscreen – including the top right corner where Mr Kazakov claims the permit was left."

Euro Car Parks ruining an 80-year old shopper's peace of mind for daring to shop at Morrisons:

    https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/swansea-morrisons-car-park-morfa-26113443

"I'm disabled, 80 years of age. I get my food and things like milk might have run out and I'll have to get somebody to go outside and get more. When I'm in the shop, I have to lean on the trolley, because I'm in so much pain," explained Mrs Jones.

She added that she was planning on finding an alternative solution to help her move around the supermarket faster, but said she found the mobility scooters provided hard to manoeuvre and get in and out of to reach for the items she needed.

Mrs Jones said her family were supportive but her son lived in England and she could be quite lonely living by herself. The warmth of speaking to others at the supermarket and being around people was important, Mrs Jones said. On how she felt after receiving the parking fine, she said:

"I'm very upset because I live on my own and I'm 80 years.  It's a lonely life and I need the politeness and respect of people without them being rude to me. When you're shopping and spending a lot of money in the shop you want some courtesy."

Her crime?  Being disabled and taking longer than the fixed parking time limit for able bodied shoppers.

Come on, rogue ANPR used PPCs and big Supermarkets, you've known this is illegal for over a decade, since before the Equality Act even came in:

Why are we still seeing this?

Why don't people figh back against these things?
LBA to management company, breach of GDPR failure to carry out due diligence in appropriate processing of data etc, plus costs for time etc etc

Morisons this time showing that they do really not give a crap about disability awareness , because if they did, they would not allow ANPR cameras in their car parks issuing parking charge notices, because if they did care and their words did mean something other than glossy nonsense to put in some PR spin then this news article below would never have happened

in short disabled shopper receives parking charge notice for taking longer to do her shop ( due to disability) and as Morrisons do not care for disabled people and are unwilling to make a reasonable adjustment by scrapping the current ANPR system - ANPR timed car parks are discriminatory by nature - unless they can recognise someone with a protected characteristics without that person having to jump through hoops to avoid a parking charge notice, issued by agents of Morrisons acting for and behalf of Morrisons with the full approval of Morison's
A spokesperson for Morrisons said: "All of our car parks have signage that clearly highlight the allotted time allowed for customers to park. We appreciate Mrs Jones's situation and we have been in touch with her directly to resolve the situation."

If they really did appreciate it then they wouldn't allow unregulated parking company to act on their behalf to aggressively chase disabled customers, an attitude  about as welcome as a punch in the face at a Morrisons petrol station

Because they don't have the time, energy or knowledge.  Because despite what great info is provided on the forum here it's not easy to follow for many people.
