And of course we have a forumite 'PPC fighter' media claim to fame today as well:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6408213/uk-cpm-new-infestation-on-private-estate/p13
Featured on BBC South Today and he got his local MP to rock up, too!
This is all part of the breathtakingly robust campaign by @_IH8_UKCPM_ in Hampshire, to remove the totally useless and unnecessary PCN regime foisted upon an estate that didn't ever need what ex-clampers like UKCPM call 'parking management'.

Thanks coupon for these horror stories, I do hope government sees them and takes note
We always talk about car park management which does not exist
ANPR eye in the sky cameras cannot manage, they are only on sites to puff up bank accounts.
To protect the public from rogue traders, ANPR should be banned3 -
Coupon-mad said:I often find Parking Review is hard to find as a link, can anyone find the whole Publication for January?
Look on the left at the thumbnails:

Most inappropriately plunging neckline?
Most smug rich person?
Most angry looking bloke in the audience?
(My vote goes for the guy in the red jacket in the first picture - he's almost a dead ringer for Nerdrotic.)2 -
Naff little item on the three old birds' Rip Off Britain on BBC this morning. Usual guff (no PPC mentioned) P&D machine not working, appeal rejected ("no other motorists had problems with the machine that day" - yeah, right!), now at £170 with debt collectors.Programme solicitor recommends a letter to PPC - take me to court. Says it will be a straightforward exercise and a judge will find in the motorist's favour. Angela R, "Looks like just a first class stamp will quickly sort this out". The programme made this sound oh so easy. We know better! Oh dear. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Perfect, thanks @1505grandad!
Noticed at the 'Gala dinner' on page 16 a photo of DCBL 'enjoying' themselves includes the BPA's own Speeding Loophole lawyer Derek Millard-Smith.
Wonder why he's sitting at this dinner and sharing the trough (some might say...) with the richest and most aggressive litigators and self-styled enforcers...?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

APCOA reportedly harassing an autistic chap:https://www.okehampton-today.co.uk/news/station-parking-causes-distress-to-autistic-man-587636
To the surprise of absolutely none of us, yet again, after refusing to cancel it on appeal, suddenly APCOA furiously back-pedalled (apparently) as soon as the newspaper said they were involved.
Damage limitation, innit? They can try...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

APCOA ... has joined the idiots club with all the others
The IDIOTS CLUB IS EXCLUSIVE to parking companies who want to prove to government they are not fit for purpose. So far, they are doing a brilliant job3 -
Link Parking reportedly ruining people's lives again at a housing estate:

The debacle follows on from this earlier story about the shambles:

Housing estates are the perfect scam site. Like shooting fish in a barrel.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
