The Winsley Road Co-op in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire appointed a parking management company earlier this year, seems it didn't work out and has now been removed.

'Chased by three enforcement officers'. Surely they're not patrolling the streets in threes, maybe the other two officers were new starts.

It's getting like the old Soviet era joke about why KGB agents went around in threes - one can read, one can write and the third keeps an eye on the two intellectuals.

Is there nothing you won't twist to benefit the parking operator?  The Equality Act places an obligation to landowners and operators to allow "reasonable adjustments" for persons with a protected characteristic.

This can include the provision of accessible bays but also to allow extra time where it is required to meet the specific needs of an individual.  Lidl for example will add a VRM to the exemption list for a period of 2 years if a motorist needs extra time in their car parks.  That's a good way to ensure everyone is treated fairly.

And don't forget that the time limit is often arbitrarily set lower than necessary (or cynically reduced, sometimes in breach of planning permission) to increase PCN revenue.

That need publicising far more widely (not sure how) but I am pleased to see Jackson Yamba put forward - he and contestor legal have helped several posters from this forum.

I think he might now be stymied in light of Mazur. Immediately after the judgment he was attempting to garner support from fellow professionals for mounting an appeal. Whether that came to anything, I don't know.
