1, Cut Nectar card in half
2, Collect a month's worth of (insert name of other supermarket here) receipts
3, Put the above in an envelope
4, Add a note that this is how much money Sainsbugs will be losing per month from just one household for the next decade or two because of the actions of them and their parking agents. Give an annual estimate.
5, Send the above to the Sainsbugs CEO
6, Encourage others to do the same
Great idea. I would do that !

Group Nexus admits that they have a blanket policy with a retail park to reissue parking charges at the original rate if the victim hasn't received the PCN:
    https://www.theoldhamtimes.co.uk/news/22894468.amp/

Shows that the currently stalled Code of Practice has got it right with that clause.

Sadly, the elderly disabled couple in the article actually think it's 'good news' that Group Nexus reduced the PCN back to £60, even though they have a Blue Badge and the new incoming CoP says PCNs must in future, be fully cancelled in such circumstances.

BPA members are being noticeably selective with which parts of the new Code they are honouring in 2022 even though they know it's coming in.

... and were told to implement the changes as a matter of urgency by the BPA.

That article leads back to a June piece:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-61736566

NOT A SINGLE PERSON HAS REALISED THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE CAMERA "MISSING CARS LEAVING". IT'S A CLASSIC 'DOUBLE DIP' SYSTEM DEFAULT (AS ANPR DOES) TO THE 'FIRST IN LAST OUT' IMAGES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD.

Quelle surprise that the BPA were contacted for comment but they stayed silent about what they KNOW AND PUBLICISED happens (as standard) with ANPR:
    https://www.britishparking.co.uk/ANPR

The June article is absolutely damning about the damage to high street shops:

The owner of the business, who did not want to be named, said her takings had dropped by about 40% because "customers are frightened to come" and she was worried some shops might be forced to close.

"The local community are boycotting the car park," she said.

The landlord introduced restrictions to stop "people using it as a park and ride but they've got no evidence to say that was ever happening - it never happened", she added.

Some businesses are able to log exemptions if their customers have to stay longer than the permitted time period, but proof was required for appeals and collecting this was time consuming, she said.

One elderly shopper had paid five charges "because he doesn't know what else to do and he's so frightened" and another paid the charge after being threatened with court action, she said.

"She was so frightened and intimidated that she felt she had no choice but to pay,"

No doubt one of the spins of the PPC's snake oil salesman to convince the landowner that they desperately needed a car park management system!

Smart Parking, which manages the parking system and uses DRPL to recoup unpaid charges, has been approached for comment.

Industry body the British Parking Association (BPA), of which DRPL is a member, said its letters were "compliant with our code of practice".

When will the media understand that the BPA code of practice has no meaning as they are unregulated. The BPA betrayed the trust of government but government has not woken up to this YET?

At least the BPA admits that the fake add-on is "compliant with our code of practice" ...... a code of practice that tells parking companies and debt collectors to scam the motorists ?   Hence government wants the BPA FAKE BANNED .

If government still wants the BPA to operate then they must regulate the BPA with a higher authority before they start inventing even more rubbish

And the IPC / IAS which was a BIG mistake by government, allowing a blatant scam to operate.  The new code will thankfully strangle this bunch

Guess who tried to come to dinner but it was too late.

This is about a council but every little helps .

Mrs May, ex PM, knocked on my door together with her security people as ex PM's get

It was not about the current crazzie PM, It was a petition about parking charges in the Wokingham council area car parks

Anger at parking price hike plan
    https://www.getreading.co.uk/news/local-news/anger-parking-price-hike-plan-4261098

Part of this area, being Woodley and Sonning comes under Mrs May

Wokingham as such comes under Mr Redwood, another Tory

Before lockdown, the fools at Wokingham council nearly destroyed the market town of Wokingham by blocking off the town with roadworks
Wokingham council have never been blessed with intelligence

So I signed the petition and BAD ME, forgot to ask May why she vowed to sort out the CCJ problem .... AND FAILED

Theresa May vows to investigate ‘abuse’ of CCJ system after Daily Mail investigation revealed families being financially crippled over debts as low as 1p

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3786132/I-ll-end-credit-rating-scandal-pledges-PM-acts-Mail-exposes-rulings-ruined-lives.html

Sadly MAY failed and not someone I would invite for dinner
