I noticed the story today regarding Morrisons closing cafés. I haven't cross-checked if all the branches being closed have had PPCs engaged, but I certainly wouldn't dwell in a supermarket café if a light meal and coffee came with the hassle of fighting a £100 PCN..

Morrisons are one of the enlightened supermarkets who put their shoppers first.
They have a webpage allowing you to dispute a PCN with them rather than the leeches.

I've also found discussing the matter with the store manager brings positive responses and and indication they are able to cancel the PCN. Locally the car park is a Euro Car Park with a 3 hour limit. If local discretion is granted the manager would not make a customer dissatisfied.

A car park in Stapleford has come under fire from residents and a local councillor after multiple complaints stating that those who have briefly entered the car park received a pcn.

The operator UKPS has previously been criticised for the same situation say people do not receive a pcn for merely performing a U-Turn. This is typically someone’s excuse for not accepting liability for parking without authorisation.
"Each parking charge is investigated by a CCTV operative before it is issued. The parking charge will only be issued if the occupants of the vehicle appear to be using the car park for something unauthorised."
