Idly listening to radio earlier I heard a phrase I'd not come across - Corporate Harm Maximisation - and whilst the discussion was about social media and gambling companies the PPCs also fit the narrative.

In essence it is companies that do whatever they can to maximise profits regardless of the wider societal damage their actions may cause. 

There is now plenty of evidence to show that PPCs are firmly within the CHM camp.
