I fixed on Eon Next V12 when it was available back in March (for mid-April).   So far it's cost me £13 more than if I'd have stayed on SVT, and will be about £40 more overall by 1st October, which one hopes to claw back (and some!) for the remainder of the tariff year.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Yes, in August 2021, more by luck than design - electricity only Easy Online 3 Year Fix Aug24v3 at a standing charge of 24p/day and 21p/kwh, and the tariff had a £220 cashback switching bonus. One of my better decisions!

Heating and hot water is from a district heating system.

Yes last week, fixed with OVO for 1 year:

    ELEC: Unit rate 33.95 / SC 45.88 +VAT
    GAS:   Unit rate 9.29 / SC 26.21 + VAT

    Exit fees £30 for each

Hopefully the gamble will pay off come October, and I have piece of mind and can budget accordantly.

Yes, 2 year fix with Sainsbury's Energy, taking me up to September 2023.

    Electricity: 19.73p kWh/ 25.09p S/C
    Gas: 3.84p kWh / 26.12p S/C

All include VAT.  I consider myself very fortunate!

That's not too bad then, our predicted overspend from taking a fix for 1st April is under £26 so was worth it for us as well as it was all Standing charge we managed a 2 year fix on the April Price Cap price per kWh for electricity 👍

I fixed for a year until April 2023.

    Electricity: 31.91p kWh / SC 22.89p all + VAT
    Gas: 8.39p kWh / SC 24.86p all + VAT

No exit fees for any - am with Octopus so can switch tariffs with no penalty. The tariff is Loyal Fixed Jan 2022 V1.

Very nice Tim that was a very canny move although I guess you are getting stung for the district heating system rates and maintenance?

To a point - the standing charge is just under £1 per day and the unit rate is 9p/kwh, but the flat is that well insulated the heating is very rarely needed, I find.
