Evening all...........not able to get on earlier, the internet is playing silly b*****s again, keeps saying there is a fault and microsoft has to close.
The new family is here, not two but three.......plus enough fabric to give them all new clothes. We had a super day..........called at Dunelm on the way home to return some things my friend had bought, they were over 28 days since she bought them, so had to have a credit note for £132.00.....
Since we have been home we had cheese on toast and a slice of cake each, I have just had a glass of sherry, so now feel nice and relaxed, might go to bed and read for a bit.
Tomorrow I have to have a sewing day, I have some cards to finish........I also got an idea for next years criggy presents when I was collecting the dollies.
Did you see strictly tonight???????????????? oh boy who is going to go out tomorrow?????????????????? Its getting very tense!!!!!!!!!!!
Just yaken the pork out for tomorrows supper, I bought carrots and brussels for Wednesdays Christmas lunch, I managed to get them in the veg boxes in the fridge, just need the goose fat for the roasties........a quick trip to Mr T's on Monday afternoon I think.
Pen Pincher I am sorry to hear that you had bad news yesterday, keep your chin up you are so brave..............
Right I am offsky, its almost bedtime...................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Evening all
spent that spare hundred quid at lidls but at least I have everything now apart from veg. Managed to squeeze in one more pressie for dgs and a tree. dd11 was a complete pain in the wotsit the whole time culminating in her telling me off for directing the taxi driver because I don't know how to drive and anyway he had a tom-tom - yeh but he's not psychic and didn't know what number i live at and was going to end up on the wrong side of the road if I didn't do the last bit. A half hour in her room soon sorted her out but the periods between strops are getting shorter and shorter.
dd22 has called to say she has quit her job - this is about the fifth time. She said she was getting grief from her manager (same old same old) and so quit. When I tried to talk to her about the possibility of using greivance proceedings instead of walking next time she put the phone down after saying she won't be coming for christmas if that's my attitude. I,m sure she'll calm down before then but it makes me mad that she has never held down a job for more than a few months - familes eh?
Pen-pin - sorry about your news but please do continue to share your struggles. You are an inspiration to me and others i'm sure - there are many days when you acheive a lot more than me. sorry about the poor chicken too
Crazychik - don't stress - social services have more serious things to worry about than squabbling teens - tell him to go ahead. A while ago someone reported dd18 to social services and they did come round as she was a very young mum. The 6 page glowing report she has from them is still an inspiration to her some 2 years onI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Hi Again
Just got OH settled in bed...its like the blind leading the blind..he is in such pain.
Just wanted to say thanks for being there today. I havent felt this low in a while. I am having to go back into hospital as my blood count has dropped to 6 and my platelet levels have dropped severely...I think I just need shooting. OH & I were both crying last night as I told him I probably wont be around much longer and he could have kids with someone else:o ...he's always wanted more kids, but thanks to me we cant as it would either be me or baby. I just want to be normal and live life as a 33yr old intelligent lady.
We can and will get over this!!
Hugs to all.

Thanks catowen, i will try to post more regular but I always seem to feel somewhat overwhelmed by some of the posts here i nterms of what you all achieve each day and I don't often feel that I have anything of interest to say

Must say well done on your latest win :T you seem to have hit a lucky streak recently which is great considering all the carp you've had to deal with lately. I do hope you manage to sort things out with your mum <hugs> :xmassmile“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
penny pincher. no wonder you are feeling so low and desperate with blood counts like that. no one would have the strength to feel positive with that. I hope the doctors are able to help, and quickly.x x x0

I agree Dogrose....
I'm surprised they haven't given you a transfusion with a blood count below 10 PP. Hope you get some help soon.
Hope everyone else is well. I'll post tommorrow when I'm more awake.

Christmas tree went up to-day...as usual took hours and the air was blue...then my little (54yold 6ft) brother rang in a paddy to know if anyone would have the patience to disentangle( is that a word?) his fairy lights as if not they were going through the window without it being opened...more blue air! All is now well and the trees are lovely
