    N9eav: Have a fab time.

PenPin: I'm sorry to here you've had bad news, Your definately not a failure ill health is not your fault.

DD is still out of sorts so I will be leaving her with her dad while I nip to town to get the last of the xmas bits. Then its just afew cards to write and to plan when I'm going to make the goodies. Oh and I need to get a dining table from somewhere as my dad was suppose to lend me his emergency one out of the shed but hes informed me last night that he will need it. If the worst comes to the worst we can use the garden table we have in the past.

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning all:wave:

Seems there's a few of us who didn't sleep well last night. :grouphug:HUGS :grouphug: I feel constantly tired through lack of sleep, but when it's time to go to bed, I just can't switch off.

It's cold but dry here today, so have put the sheets on the line. Hopefully they will dry.

Caught the kitchen mouse last night. Please let it be the last. No more poison has been eaten overnight, so fingers crossed.

Both BM and WM are on, and I've cleaned the bathrooms - a job I hate - but it's all sparkly now.

There's carols in the city this afternoon, so if I can persuade the girls to go out in the cold, we may go and listen to them.

Has anyone else had a letter off NPower saying they are crediting your account with £40 in February? I'm not sure if it's for all customers or because I've been awarded DLA:confused: That, along with my DD discount, will come in handy.

 No, AMIE, No! At least not until I've got everything done, so I don't have to go out in it:D

    Hi DG

Mom still feels down, but there's been no more mention of her wanting to go to sleep and never wake up. They've got a lot of running around to do next week, so mom will be busy. Hopefully that will be a good thing.

    Thankyou xxx

Hester, cook your christmas lunch the way you want, and if the lodger doesn't want any of it, she could cook her own. I have a feeling that she is taking advantage of your good nature.

:grouphug: HUGS :grouphug: PP. I hope you are ok. I had my test results back on Tuesday and they're not great, so I spent a couple of days feeling really down, then felt guilty about feeling down. One thing I've found though, is that no-one on here minds if you post about it, so post away if it makes you feel better hun. Good luck for your OH

Going to read the 'if things get tougher' thread now.
Looking forward to the X-factor final tonight:j

:grouphug: HUGS :grouphug: to all who need or want one.

    Have a great day

    Pipkin xxxx

    morning all,

    N9eav have a great holiday enjoy. x

Pen Pin your posts are NOT depressing, you have such a lot to worry about, but you have a great family around you, keep posting on here, we all like to hear about your days, good or bad, sending love your way xx, good luck to your OH xx

Going walking today its very cold but will be fine if we wrap up warm, we have not been for a couple of weeks due to the weather, so I feel I need a nice long walk.

We are treating ourselves to an indian takeaway tonight, and they deliver, so no going back out for me :T

Got two small presents to wrap, and then I'm done :j I usually do the wrapping of an evening with a bottle of wine on the go, they start off really nicely wrapped and the last ones look like a three year old has done them

    Have good days all

well today must get christmas organised. have just done some more online shopping and in a minute will head out to a local housewares store. its an independent store, unusual these days. its a huge rabbit warren of a place with lots of unusual stuff, not your high street sameness if you know what I mean. looking for a toothbrush holder :) and a desk top calendar for my sister. will get some keys cut while I am there. our new doors only came with three keys and there are four of us, plus I leave spares with a neighbour and my sister.

penny-pincher I am so sorry you are feeling so low. I cant imagine how tough it must be to be so young and so poorly. you are not a failure.

RedRuby - Small world isnt it??
I didnt realise there were so many of us about, I knew Amiee was in Bognor... I need to pop into LA at some point but I should think today it'll be busy anywhere to be honest.
Have you been into trading post lately??
Perhaps we should organise a meet up in the new year so we can put faces to names!!
  • Hi everyone

Hope you are all well and hugs to those who aren't:grouphug: . Life continues to be mad. Have had a go at some menu plans for next week, am looking for some simple ideas for puddings if anyone has got any advice for me.

Today is Mum's birthday so we are going out for lunch in a bit. Then I shall probably start panicking as there is so much to do!

Have a good day all:snow_grin xxxx

    Hello everyone.

Another one here with a rough nights sleep. I was out for the staff night out last night and was one of the few sober people as I had to drive home. I didn't mind though as spent nothing on drinks, just kept draining the jug of water on the table-well, I paid enough for the meal! I woke up at 6ish to move my car and then went back to sleep, woke up at about 9:30 and am still trying to wake myself up by drinking a gingerbread latte (Starbucks syrup in a home made latte) and watching Saturday Kitchen.

I need to get the train into the city today-bus will be packed as it comes all the way from Tunny Wells and driving will not be too good-plus it's more expensive, whereas the train is £3.10 return and means less walking!! I have a couple more bits to get-I was going to go late night shopping on Thursday, but I have been so tired from work that it was not humanly possible!

Had better get a shuffle on-have things to do when I get back from the city, as silly old me is working tomorrow in my other job-it'll pay for the Christmas pressies this year, so I can't complain!!

Sending huge hugs to PenPin and anyone else who needs/wants.

Have a good day guys :p

Have been called into work today, don't mind as I need the money and I will have lots of free time next week  (although I'm, sure I will get called in a couple of times)

OH did come back and apologise last night. I was in bed as I was exhausted.

Soo, hope you all have a good day
