Right.. This may get long and I may need to go to the loo in the middle..
Round.. some people are w@nkers and need boiling in their own juices.. sending love and hugs.. and I found some weird banana flavour jammie dodgers.. they look freaky..HB.. Saying no is incredibly liberating. I have taken to doing that a lot in recent years. I'm not sure is I just dislike people more or if I am becoming old and cantankerous.. probably both.Kaz.. did you sort your phone?
I have 6 knitting projects in near completion and need to get my act together.my washing is under controlMy dishwasher is under control and I even have 2 out of 3 work surfaces clean and clear in the kitchen.Squeak is at drs tomorrow with her tics and anxiety. I am sick of waiting for SALT to help so we are hitting this from every angle. People have started commenting to her about them and that makes it so much worse. Her friend today asked if she has Tourettes!
Twinkle is a bit scabby still and back to school tomorrow.. Her face is still a bit sore so she might not keep her glasses on all day but I don't care.
OH has a half day at work tomorrow. Twinkle is going to be 6!!! We had her party today and I beheaded a unicorn. She has £10 to spend so we are heading out for books I think.. They don't play with toys and I refuse to pay for xbox games. I will bung a cake pic up in a sec..
The garden is very full but much tidier and given the rain all day I am glad I didn't have everyone come here.. Having millions of bodies in the house would have been a bit much. The children had a fabulous time and we ate chips in peace. Squeaks friend came which was so very nice for her. The younger sister of said friend is Twinkles bestie so it was quite convenient.
(yep.. loo)
Bk.. with a ding-dinner
DW reloaded, cuppa made, smalls fed and watered.
Dot needs a bath. I need to make pack ups.
The summerhouse is pretty much done bar the 'keystone' bits on the roof edges. I have decided the ride on things can be donated to nursery if DD1 doesn't want them for the smalls.
I am hoping to get the majority of the baby cardigan body done tonight and start sleeves tomorrow. It makes a change to be knitting something fairly small and mind-numbingly simple. I'm doing bunting for inside the summerhouse next and maybe a couple of matching cushions..
I paid a bill in full with help from MIL. MUCH appreciated. I have another bill almost paid off too.. so I am heading in the right direction there.
The car inside is all vacuumed and sparkly .. Pixie and OH did that yesterday after the last big tip run. We had half a million woodlice mooching about!
Right.. bed time for the geeks...
xx

Evening all. Glad the party was a success Piggers, and how lovely that you've moved home ASB. Hugs for Round and anyone else who needs them.
Four days of really successful village jubilee events are now over as is my volunteering for now. We partied in the rain today.
Aspirations for tomorrow include dailies, hoovering through, getting a mountain of washing done including bedding, dusting living room, two dog walks, some knitting and some puzzling.
See you all on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
DD and I have baked - a baked cheesecake and a creme brulee (to use up the egg yolks left over from the baked cheesecake). And I have knitted and ironed. With no prep to do for work I seem to have MUCH more 'free' time - which was entirely the plan, actually.
