Kaz.. Paint it (prime and gloss/eggshell)? Is it smooth like a window or like glass bricks? A thin piece of hardboard cut to size and painted? Fablon should work but the moisture might make it peel off.
Another tip run done. We now have an empty box, a bunch of sticks and an old shed door which is ging to become a gate at my sisters house.
Twinkles birthday party tomorrow. I am hoping I am less tired than I am today because I am exhausted! Dreading that if I am honest.
QUESTION.. Are party bags a necessity? They seem silly and a waste of money to me.. I've just fed your kid for free they don't need sweets too suely?

Loving the summer house piggers xx
.... just remembered, my washing is still out on the line ....
Towel, tea towels and bedding brought in and FU
Had a unexpectedly fraught afternoon. My Facebook was hacked, quickly followed by Messenger. Both accounts were then disabled by Facebook because of dodgy activities. Then BT phoned to say they've locked my emails following suspicious attempts to access. I couldn't access my Amazon account to remove my card details, so I phoned the bank aka a call centre somewhere in India???? to stop my bank card. Couldn't hear properly on the mobile so I tried to call on my landline. It seems that I am unable to make calls out on my landline. Cried. Rang back on my mobile. Still couldn't hear very well but heard enough to know that the card has been stopped and to ring straightaway if there is any suspicious activity on my account. So I'll be going to the bank on Monday to get a mini statement to check.
And breathe....
DS checked and I have completely disappeared from Facebook and my Messenger profile picture has changed- it was an unknown Asian man in a yellow jacket when I looked!
All hassle that I could have done without and it triggered my old friend - anxiety.
DS and GF are in Sunderland for an Ed Sheeran concert tonight. Bless him, DS insisted on phoning me even though I said I was OK.
And, to add insult to injury, my first horse in the ITV7 came out of the starting stalls without a jockey!!! Guess he was having a bad afternoon too lol
Oh well. I've done all I can do. I think. Settling down to watch the Jubilee concert tonight....and try to relax.
Have a good evening

Enormous (((hugs))) to round xxx
Pigpen, the summerhouse looks great! Personally I think party bags are a waste of money - just give them their piece of cake to take home.
I started the morning extremely tired after a 3-hour round trip to see DS2 and family yesterday, but I managed to plant out a few bits and pieces in the garden this afternoon. Our team came joint second in the Quiz Night this evening, which is not at all bad considering that DH and I gave all the answers apart from one, as our 4 fellow team members are from the Seychelles and Cameroun and included 2 under-11s.
Tomorrow we shall be picnicking indoors, I fear...8 -
Auspicious start to the day - tested positive just now. Due to pick up DD tomorrow so plans are now changing. Can really do without this, but grateful, in a Pollyanna way, that it’s now and not 2 years ago. Curled up on the settee and little intention of moving. DH has decided to start stripping wallpaper on the landing - the wallpaper stripper has only been sitting there since March, and he decides today to make a start 🙇♀️🙇♀️Huge hugs to Round xx
Pigpen, I agree with Iona - a waste of money. Good luck with the party.9 -

Morning all xx
Thank you for the hugs xx They are most welcome 😘 I'm feeling very fragile this morning. Been knocked out of kilter and my brain is scrambled. I'd forgotten how it felt to feel this unbalanced. I guess that shows how far I've come. Do not want to go back there.
I slept eventually- having thoroughly search the WAC room for a hidden stash of jammie dodgers 😉 I'd forgotten to eat - that's never a good sign. Woke up and very briefly felt fine then dump. Like a heavy weight landed on me as I remembered.
This too will pass. All is well. And all is well. And all manner of things shall be well. And breathe.
I'm up. My bed is made. I've had a brew. And I've set the WM swishing. Doesn't look like a pegging out day, but it'll dry on the airer eventually. At least it's washed.
Right. I need to eat next.
Hope you all have a lovely day and that it's not raining everywhere.
Hope you are not feeling too poorly Fayolle 💐 xx

(((Hugs))) Round. I'm so sorry it's happened and disturbed your equilibrium, but as you say - This will pass. It's just very unsettling when it happens. Curses to the person that did this to you.*GWS* vibes heading your way Fayolle. Lots of rest, we found, did the trick and it passed fairly quickly.I can't keep up with Fred at the moment because I've finally found some energy after years of not having any and I'm making the most of it. Sorry sorry sorry but I'll be back, if I may, as soon as I run out of steam but in the meantime I'm full on or full stop. The tomato plants have all found a spot, thanks to a very kind neighbour, our Platty Jubbley event went off without a hitch despite me not realising it was supposed to start at 3pm with the cream tea I was organizing for 4pm in my mind because I am juggling stuff and was practising fudge brownies when I should have been smearing clotted cream on scones; my 10 day solo camping holiday at a literary festival in July is in the late stages of planning (can't wait!); I'm in training for my 110 mile section hike on the Dartmoor Way over the summer /autumn and the catering I'm doing for an eight day tiny budget film shoot is only a week away and I think I'm almost there with the menu planning. I'm still not sure how to get the food to the locations but that concern is for another day.Layla is accompanying me on training hikes but conks out after about a mile and a half so I have to structure the walks around her, which makes life a bit more complicated but she's learning how to paddle in the River Plym, finding interesting sniffs in local nature reserves and now thinks her morning trundle on Plymouth Hoe is very ordinary. She also nicked scone yesterday by standing up at the table, tipping over a basket and filching it - but gave it up when I took it out of her mouth without a murmur. The house is a bit scruffy around the edges but doesn't have to be spick and span until this time next week when we've got a theatrey-type coming to stay for the first time in months. I've taken to turning down people if I think they're going to be more trouble than they're worth, which two were recently. I don't think I can be bothered with the hassle any more.Better is good enough.7

Thank you HB xx Your post is a tonic in itself. ❤
I've had some breakfast. I've got 2 loads of washing now draped on the airer. I'm dressed and I've fed the birds and put out the recycling.
Having a coffee now.

Afternoon Folks
Extremely wet day here and we woke up this morning to a conservatory with a leaking roof. The largest drip filled 3 mop buckets to the brim before we ventured across country to visit DS2. Looks like I will be buying a new roof with some of my inheritance. Most of it has to be my pension as I didn’t have one caring for relatives for 20 years.
Watched the jubilee parade between nodding off. Now wm is on and I’m getting things ready for work in the morning.
Hope everyone has had a pleasant few days.
sorry you were hacked Round
Hope party went smoothly Piggers
waves to Honey bear
Hope you only have mild symptoms Fayolle x
Iona hope you get some time to relax soon x
Valli glad you are enjoying you new job x

Pigpen as we all trying to be a bit more environmentally friendly nowadays, and party bags are mostly plastic tat, I would say no to them. The summerhouse looks amazing btw.
Asb I hope that you will be very very happy in your new home x And much love to Round and Fayolle.
Kaz we have a rectangle of frosted glass over each bedroom door, not entirely sure why. When DS2 was at home we blocked it up with cardboard which embarrassingly is still there because he would have his bedroom light on at midnight and it kept us awake!
I feel like I have been a bit awol. On Thursday I took my parents out, Friday I did a big cycle ride and a bit of housework then collected DS2 from the train station, Saturday we were at the village jubilee party then a family BBQ then today I have worked 8 hours helping to run a jubilee event. Flying has been very minimal and its going to be a busy week at the paid stuff.
See you all on the new thread, I will be getting an early night, I am not used to all this socialising!
