Morning everyone xx
Wishing you all a splendid Jubilee weekend 😊 More history that we are living through 🇬🇧 👑 🎉
Flying? Yes. Hmmm. I will endeavour to flutter later but priority is to get dressed ready to watch the parade of royals and then Trooping of the Colour. Well, it is a holiday 🙂

Morning all
Sorry for being a patchy flylady - very little flying to report, just busy days at work. It’s ramping up to the silly season, and I’m waking up in the night thinking about work, which I swore I wouldn’t do after I left the previous all-consuming job. Still it’s 4 days off now. Nothing massive planned for today, although we will go to cheer the village beacon lighting tonight.
Rhubarb has been prepped for jam making today, I have to go to the allotment (DH has apparently cleared most of the weeds on his days off this week, it might be an idea to actually plant something now), also need to sort the fridge / freeze some bits, so freezer tetris is on the cards.
A beach walk sounds ideal, Kaz. Am so jealous.
Have a good day all x8 -
Window cleaner just made me jump. He thought the Bank Holiday was on Monday. 🤣IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme9

Well.. I have a lodger.. Moomins friend is here after being evicted by her ex-boyfriends mum.. Last lodger I had stayed 4 years.. Why can I not say no? But, could my conscience have left a young woman homeless??
OH is powerwashing the patio
I am painting the inside of the summerhouse.. My hands are killing me!
I AM getting it all done today if it (most likely it will) kill me.
I have done the inside crem and will do the window frames green when I've done this. Painting the ceiling is going to prove triky.. I may need the little platform or at least the step ladder.
My garden is staing to look like a garden once again. It has been very neglected the last 3-4 years due to time and money and health and it is finally taking shape again.

Busy jubilee day here. First two events a resounding success, so many people.
Just having a rest for a while before evening events kick off.
Think I'll sleep well tonight.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Well done with the summerhouse and garden Pigpen. Hope everyone is having a nice bank holiday.
Have taken the parents out to a local stately home to walk around the gardens and then stopped off in a local tourist town where Dad spent a lot of time as a child. Lovely to hear his memories but he is very very slow and probably should use a stick. Crossing the road had my heart in the mouth and people get all huffy when they get stuck behind him on narrow pavements, even through he tries to keep out of the way. Felt like shouting at one young couple "you will be 81 one day". Other than that it was lovely and we had a nice relaxing day.
Sleepy now but I will find something for DH to have for his tea. Need to bring the washing in. Going out to watch the local Beacon lighting later if I am still awake!

Cardboard boxes dropped off at DS and GF's.
DS and GF dropped off at the pub.
Fish, chips and curry sauce picked up for tea 😋 Not slinky, not mse, but delicious and it is a holiday 😊

Hello Folks
House cleaned. This full time work thing takes it toll, I thought it was never clean enough before but cobwebs are a plenty. Front path swept as Mr Black bird has been emptying the gutters for me free of charge.
Had a lovely visit from Ds1 & GF, we took them to Newstead Abbey home of Lord Byron (formerly) for a stroll then back home for pizza.
Need to visit the big blue box store for new sofa throws and cushions tomorrow then it is brassiere shopping Saturday and visit to DS2 Sunday.
Hope everyone is well as can be x7
