Iona, I LOVE the birdy cushions.. every surface in my house is cluttered!!I've dug out some paint for the inside of the summer house.. thats a job for later maybe. I ma need a bnq trip. I have this crazy idea of painting the kitchen units.. if I sand them then paint should stick right?it is that or I go crazy with fablon, that means butterflies on my units!! I want the units gray.. and the walls I am thinking the back wall dark tealy-green colour and the others more a sage.. but I can't decide because I am indecisive.. plus it means buying paint and I would rather use what I have cluttering the shed.
I need to dig out the items i need to post.. and jiggle money about .. everything has gone in today which means the 1st DD's are paid but the Friday standing orders get messed up.. so annoying!! I am manually making the friday payments today and moving the standing orders to next week.. tedium at its finest!

Sounds like you are doing well with the summer house Piggers.OH driven to his eye appointment / operation, they said he would be 2 to 3 hours, so I dropped him off, and set off walking, to get a call from him approx 50mins late to say all done and he can leave, provided I show myself at the door, as he is not allowed to drive for 24 hours, so I about turn, wave at a nurse at the door, OH is released, he is now sleeping. Not a lot else done so far, but more walking, grass cutting, kitchen to doHope you are all ok and having a good day.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Acidic email sent to life insurance company re their handling of my claim. I have JUST found out I need to complete a claim form. I have informed them that I may wish to complain about their handling of the claim and that I reserve the right to do so. I also informed them they have been neither professional nor compassionate.
Washing out on line.
ETA. May = definitely will and will escalate to the ombudsman if I’m still unhappy. It will take a grovelling apology (and my claim backdated) to stop me in my tracks.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Cake making-again- underway.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
It's very quiet on the thread this evening...
This morning I sorted some banking and went out to buy cake ingredients.
This afternoon I worked in the garden: decluttered the scraggy forget-me-nots, planted tomato plants, moved the mini-greenhouse and swept the back yard. My gardener mowed and edged the lawn, tidied the border outside the LR window and cut back the ivy on the fence. I also dug up some bits of plants for a friend with whom I'm having coffee tomorrow morning.
The spare bed looks no better than it did this morning!
Enjoy the Bank Holidays xx7 -
My spare bed progress is not bad…
stuff has been homed and thrown but still not finished. I have, however, sewn buttons onto cardigans so they will be leaving soon.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
