Morning all. Hope you're all ok and enjoying the long weekend.
Today is another full day of village jubilee celebrations so no flying again but at least if I'm not here the house can't get messy.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all
Please excuse my absence, I have a note I promise! The last few weeks, well months really, have been hectic. In a nice way though, because we have moved house 😚
We’ve been here a while now, but I wanted to settle in properly and establish ourselves before saying too much. We are in a totally new county, middle of nowhere, farming community and semi off grid. And we love it 😍
Children super settled in school, we have some land and all of my time is spent outdoors at the moment. Flying is very minimal as there is absolutely loads to do to the house, but it will get done in time and I’m doing it all myself.
I will keep reading but posting may be sporadic as we get to grips with everything. Much love to you all xx

Congratulations on your move, asb. Here's wishing you and your children and animals a very happy new home xxx I shall have to re-plan the Flylady bus route
Glad the new job is enjoyable, Valli x
Lovely to see you, dancemum x
Yesterday I baked 5 - or was it 7? - cakes! One of them is going with us to DS2's today for his 44th birthday (actually on Sunday, but we're too busy to meet up then). The rest are for the Parish Picnic on Sunday.
DH and I also went to the Forest and he was able to hire the new Tramper mobility thingummy and "walk" with us in the woods for the first time in 3 years.
This morning I have cleaned the kitchen INCLUDING MOPPING THE FLOOR and hoovered the LR and study, as Rosie is keen to turn the carpet white with her furry offerings.
Off out soon, so I must get ready. Hope everyone has a good day xx

Had some bad news. Dsistr has been diagnosed with something. I would have liked a little more time of calm between storms.

Was sunny first thing, now raining. So farCut front lawnIroning doneWalking doneInspected OH's tent he has put up in the garden, as have the cats.Eaten a snadwichTidied round.Thoughts / suggestions pleaseI have an internal bathroom glazed / frosted glass window, this is letting in too much light at 4am, and waking me / cats up.I should have had it taken out when I redid the bathroom last year, plastered over and tiles, but I didn't.I need to cut out the light, I have made a blue peter style cardboard cut out to fill it for now, however it looks naff to say the least. A blind / curtain won't work as the light will still come in.I am thinking of sticking fablon or similar on it, but willthat cut the light out? or does the FL collective have any other ideas?Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
